Sanchez -- In loving memory of Frank Maes Sanchez, Born October 1, 1941, went home with the Lord April 6, 2001. One of the most dreaded sentences a patient can hear is,"You have cancer." These words bring a chill to the heart. A sincere, caring, honest and very much loved gentleman lost his short battle with lung cancer. But his life demonstrated that even though the physical body may be destroyed by disease, the spirit can remain triumphant, Frank fought his short battle with lung cancer by displaying strength and faith and refused to let his painful daily struggles affect his spirit. Frank kept trusting in God's love and his Spirit remained strong. We read inspirational words from "Our Daily Bread" to remind Frank daily that Cancer was so limited.... It cannot cripple love, It cannot shatter hope, It cannot corrode faith, It cannot eat away peace, If cannot shut out memories, It cannot silence courage, It cannot reduce enteral life, It cannot quench the spirit, It cannot lessen the power of the resurrection.Frank Maes Sanchez, 59, was born in San Jose, NM, to the late Frank and Rebecca Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Susan D. Sanchez, the proud father of five children, Yvette Sanchez of Dallas, TX, Louie Sanchez and wife Cassie, Denise C. Lovato and husband Lenny, Diana Mascarenaz and husband Joe of San Diego, CA, Frankie Sanchez Jr. and wife Stacy of Kansas City, MO; 10 grandchildren, Frank and Michael Sanchez, Tyler and Chase Sanchez, Lenny and Lynae Lovato, Kimberly and Joseph Mascarenaz, and Kennedy and Avery Sanchez; four brothers and sisters, Al Sanchez, Della Gutierrez and husband Selso, Loretta Ortega and husband Rudy, and Irene Pacheco and husband Robert. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his sister, Annie Forrester. He will be greatly missed. Mr. Sanchez was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and an eight-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam Era.
