Obituary for Armstrong

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday April 08, 2001

Annette Armstrong-Lavigne, born September 20, 1931, died April 1, 2001. Annette possessed many creative talents, the results of which signify her love of the Southwest, where she was born and raised. Among those who knew her well, she is most noted and admired as a turquoise and silver jewelry artisan, and gardener - especially of roses, which she lovingly tended and which remain as a testament to her appreciation of beauty in nature. Annette is survived by four children; Lee, Kim, Jeff and Steve; a loving and devoted husband, Al; a brother, Frank; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She joins her sister, Lydia, and brothers, Ernie and Oliver. Thank you, momma, sweetheart, sister, and grandma for the life lessons you provided. May you find happiness and peace in heaven's garden. In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to Heart Hospital of New Mexico Foundation, 504 Elm St. NE 87102.
