Kimbler -- Hettye I. Kimbler, 89, a resident of Los Lunas, left this world to meet and be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, forever on Wednesday, April 4, 2001. Hettye was the last survivor of her immediate family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Los Chavez. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Donald in 1986; and her five sisters, Stella Denton; Allie Harden; Joe Hargus; Margaret Chilcott; and Carma"Tommy" Brown. Hettye is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Bob Knight of Los Lunas; two grandsons, Bart Knight and his wife, Sonja of WA; and Darwin Knight and his wife, Cynthia of Los Lunas; and four great-grandsons. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews with special mention of three nieces, Winona Cooper of Gallup; Lorraine Lindsey of CA; and Maxine Jenkins of AZ; one sister-in-law, Emma Kimbler of CA; and one very close friend, Mildred Kirkland of Albuquerque. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Hettye's extended family, Tom and Bernadette Vigil and children, for the care and compassion that was shown to her. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Albuquerque, NM.
