Cortinaz -- Margarito �Mike� Cortinaz, 74, passed away April 6, 2001. He was a long time Albuquerque resident and served in the U.S. Navy. Mike was best known as a business owner in the downtown community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Moreno and is survived by his daughters, Ann Armijo of Los Lunas, Marie Gabaldon of Lakewood, CA., and Patrice Cortinaz of Denver, CO.; sister, Aurora Mora of Denver, CO.; brothers, Conrad Cortinaz of Denver, CO., Clovis Cortinaz of San Francisco, CA., nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and other family and friends who loved and will miss him. A memorial service will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 6th and Copper NW., on Monday, April 9, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. His remains will be interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
