Helen M. Woods, 88, died on April 5, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lowell G. Woods of Albuquerque; son, Richard L. Woods and wife, Barbara of Tucson, AZ; daughters, Joan F. Chapel and husband, Bill and Jean W. Armijo, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jennifer Bliss and husband, John, Jeffrey Woods and wife, Lisa, Lowell Conley and wife, Stacey, Sharon Chapel, and Cathy Copher and husband, David; by her great-grandchildren, David, Alexis, Matthew, C.J. and Sean; and her sister-in-law, Marjorie McVicker. Helen loved her children, fishing with her grandchildren, her home, and traveling with her husband and playing golf. Services will be held Monday, April 9, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE with Rev. John Wild, officiating. Entombment to follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. Friends may visit Sunday, April 8, 2001 from 4-6 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
