Burgett -- Sadie L. Burgett, age 77, went peacefully to our Lord on Monday, February 26, 2001, at Manor Care Nursing Home. She was born on May 23, 1923, in Staples, MN, the daughter of Grover and Jennie (Shaffer) Burnett. Sadie was a member of Central Assembly of God Church and a life member of VFW. Survivors include son, L. Rodney Burgett and wife, Marelen of Southlake, TX; daughter, Connie L. Drydyk and husband, John of Madison, WI; grandchildren, Thomas L. Burgett of Dallas, TX, R. Jason Burgett of Southlake, TX and Karen R. Drydyk of Madison, WI; three sisters, Eva Lester of Albuquerque, Esther Bates of Homer, NE and Crystal Wade of Webster, WI; many nieces and nephews and other relatives; special friends, William B. Rader, Lynn H., Mary E. Burgett and many other wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leonard Burnett; two sisters, Hazel Baum and May Neeley; and a son at childbirth, Terry L. Burgett. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 10, at 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Stephen Sutherland presiding.
