Obituary for Stanat

SMSGT Raymond J. Stanat, retired, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2001 of natural causes at the age of 82. He served in World War II as a B-17 (Memphis Bell) airplane mechanic in England, North Africa and Italy with the 97th Bomb Group. He retired from the Air Force, SAC, in 1964. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Stanat; daughters, Carolyn Pena and Madeline Jeys; grandchildren, Deborah K. Pena, David Jay Pena, Pattie Jo DeVrie, Jamie Ray Jeys and three great-grandchildren, Patrick J. Pena, Shala Kay Pena-Garcia and Nathaniel Wyatt Pena.
