Bechdel -- Louise E. Bechdel, 86, born in Kittanning, PA and a resident of Albuquerque since 1976, died on Thursday, April 5, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Elouise Johns of Belleview, FL; son, James R. Bechdel and wife, Wendy of Albuquerque, NM; six grandchildren, Laurie Griffen and husband, Larry, Greg Johns and wife, Dilenia, Michael Johns and wife, Rosa, Patrick Johns, all of Florida, Jennifer Bechdel and Sarah Bechdel of Albuquerque; eight great-grandchildren, Justin, Maggie, Matthew, Miguel, Madisen, Randy, Brittni and Zack; sister, Barbara J. Kubatko of PA and brother, Paul Sanko of PA. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Roy in 1963. She was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, April 8, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at John XXIII Catholic Community. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 9, 2001, 11:00 a.m. at John XXII Catholic Community Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Drive NE with Rev. Arkad Biczak, celebrant. Louise will be remembered for her flowers, plants, cooking, sewing, arts and crafts.
