ALLEN -- Etta Jeanne Allen passed away June 26, 2007 at home in Albuquerque. She was born June 13, 1926 in Fort Worth, TX. Jeanne, as she was known, retired from Albuquerque Public Schools but continued to substitute teach until 2006. She was a devout Christian and was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School since 1974. She was an avid Lobo Fan, and was a devout mother, grandmother and "Nana". Jeanne will be greatly missed by her family, church family, precious ladies of Joy Sunday School Class and all who knew and loved her. She is survived by daughter, Jayne Muse: son, Joe Allen and wife, Terri; daughter, Lynne Lamar, Cindy Martinelli, and Cathy Olague and husband, Larry; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, son-in-law, Dan Lamar. BEAUREGARD -- Joseph L. Beauregard, 86, died at home on Saturday, June 23, 2007. He was predeceased by his wife, Katie and son, Joe. He is survived by his son, Bruce and wife, Jeanne Beauregard and children: Joseph and wife, Melissa Beauregard and their children, Jacinda and Zidan; and John Beauregard and Jacqueline Beauregard, of California. He is survived by his daughter, Marcia Beauregard Fernandez and husband, D.R. "Rip" Anderson of Albuquerque and sons: Antonio Fernandez and wife, Stephanie Nevarez Fernandez, MD., Miguel and wife, Gabriela Fernandez, and Luis and wife, Kristy Fernandez and their son, Joaquin. He is survived by his son, Michael Beauregard and wife, Andrea Atencio Beauregard and their daughter, Graciela, of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his son Joe's widow, Melinda Beauregard and her children, Luc and Hayley Beauregard, of California. The family wishes to thank Joseph's caregivers for allowing us to follow his greatest wish to remain in his own home: Helen Vigil, Carol Caples, Laura Garcia, Linda Garcia and Patricia Mascarenas. We will be forever grateful to them and to the staff of Hospice de la Luz: Wendy Klein, Katy Yankie, Lynnette Wallner, and Dr. Ricardo Ortega. CHAVEZ -- CHARLIE In Loving Memory February 20, 1920 - June 28, 1992 Charlie Chavez Charlie was a loving husband to Cecilia and father of Joseph, Phillip, and Cecilia. He was also a grandfather of Christian, Mike, Daniel, Matthew, Jordan, and Amanda. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad and was a WWII Veteran. His was fond of his family and grandchildren. Charlie showered them with love and affection. Charlie is sincerely missed but forever remembered.

ELSNER -- Karl E. Elsner, 87, died Friday, June 15, 2007 in Albuquerque. He is survived by his wife, Doris; sons, Bruce and Karl W.; one sister, Ellen of Colorado; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Alene of Missouri. He was a member of various Masonic organizations. A Masonic Memorial Service will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2007. FRATZOLA -- Anthony Fratzola, age 85, passed away in Cimarron, NM on June 24, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Amy Marcella; parents, Joseph and Angelina Fratzola; brother, Michael; sisters: Mary and Rose Marie; niece, Angela. Anthony was born July 23, 1921 in Scranton, PA. He married Amy Marcella Valverde in Las Vegas, NM on June 5, 1943. He was a certified welder retired after 35 years service as a carman for the Santa Fe Railroad. Anthony served as an Elder, Deacon and was an active member with his family with Presbyterian Church for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and Elks. He is survived by his son, Anthony Fratzola, Jr. and wife, Anne of Cimarron, NM; daughters: Gay Rodriguez and husband, Tony of Pecos, NM, and Elizabeth Hardman and husband, Ed of Galena, MO; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, June 29, 2007, 11 a.m. with a Service to follow at 1 p.m. both at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Interment will follow immediately at Santa Fe National Cemetery. GREER -- Margaret E. Greer, 82, a resident of Albuquerque for the last six years, passed away peacefully at home Saturday evening, June 23, 2007. She is survived by her two children, Rick Greer of Morristown, NJ, and Kathe Rensner and husband Gary of Sandia Park, NM; niece, Marilyn Goeller and husband, Ted of Walnut Creek, CA; nephew, Bob Holgerson of Wichita, KS; nephew, Mike Mostrom and wife, Sherry of Cedar Crest, NM; nine grandnieces and grandnephews; five great-grandnieces and -nephews; and, many loving friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John L. Greer Jr., in 1975; her brother, Francis DeMand, a highly decorated WWII pilot killed in action in 1944, and her sister, Evelyn DeMand Holgerson, in 1980. Margaret was born in Kansas farm country in the small town of Haven, KS, to Dr. Milton H. and Martha DeMand on August 16, 1924. Margaret's father, a highly respected "horse and buggy" doctor, would take little Margaret with him while making his rounds in rural Kansas. After her father's death in 1926, Margaret helped with cooking and baking in her mother's boarding house that catered to the town's schoolteachers during the school year and itinerant oil wildcatters during the summer months. In her teen years, she and her mother moved to Wichita, KS where she graduated from East High School in 1942. Margaret attended Lindenwood College for a year and returned to Wichita to work the war effort at Aero Parts Manufacturing Company in Wichita. She met her future husband, John L. Greer, Jr, and they were married on Easter Sunday, 1945 in Reno, Nevada. The couple returned to Wichita and raised two children, Rick and Kathe. The family made several moves to the Phoenix area in 1961, the San Francisco area in 1964 and finally returning to Arizona in 1967. In Phoenix, Margaret was the Purchasing Agent for the Tonto National Forest. Margaret worked her career with the same vim and vigor with which she pursued most things in life receiving many commendations and employee awards. Margaret retired with honor from the Forest Service in 1986. After retirement, Margaret donated much of her time to Goodwill Industries, where she was usually first in line to support many of their fund-raising activities. She especially enjoyed working the annual Goodwill Antiques Show where she made many new friends. Margaret escaped the heat and smog of Phoenix, and moved to Albuquerque in 2001 to be nearer to her daughter. Margaret was a hopeless romantic who loved the change of the four seasons, our New Mexico fresh air, her beautiful garden, the love and company of her friends and family, and her church. Services will be held at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd. NE, Friday, June 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Margaret desired to be buried near her beloved husband and will be interred at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Scottsdale, AZ. HODGE -- William Robert Hodge, 15, a resident of Albuquerque since his birth on May 21, 1992, died Sunday, June 24, 2007 in an accidental drowning at Elephant Butte Lake. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Toppin; sister, Jenny, all of Albuquerque; grandmothers, Wanda Duke of Albuquerque, Judy Duke of Los Angeles, CA, and Ruth Ann Hodge of TX; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. William was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Robert Hodge and Robert Kerr Duke. He was currently attending Albuquerque High School at the time of his death. William enjoyed skateboarding, scuba-diving, jet skiing, ATVs, music, and especially being with his friends. He also had a great love of animals. William was known as "Frogger" to his close friends and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him for his humor, generosity, and loving nature. LUCERO -- Celso Hart Lucero passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007 in Albuquerque at the age of 91. Mr. Lucero was a decorated Army Veteran and former Prisoner of War during World War II. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eulogio and Emelia Lucero and brother, Roman Lucero. He is survived by his wife, Eva Griego; children, Dolores Garcia, Waldo Lucero and Mary, James Marcum and Pam, Roberta Lucero and Chris Lucero and Marie; step children, Jerry Griego and Gloria Chavez; siblings, Jane Padilla and Antonio Lucero; 16 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. LUERAS -- Susan R. Lueras, 71, has gone to be with our Lord on Sunday, June 24, 2007. She was born in Taos, NM and was a proud graduate of Menaul High School. She retired from APS in 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Lueras. She is survived by two daughters, Viviane Moreno and husband, Joe of Albuquerque, Lilliane Moore and husband, Shawn of North Carolina; son, Edwin Lueras and wife, Tammy of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren, Damian Lee Castillo, Damian Sandoval, Aaron and Nathan Moreno, Jaden and Evan Lueras, all of Albuquerque, Jenae and Noah Castillo and Seth Moore of North Carolina; two siblings, Ernest Rivera and wife, Irene and Eleanor Burris; and numerous nieces and nephews. MATTINGLY -- Suzanne Z. Mattingly, 56, a resident of Placitas, NM since 2004 and a former long-term resident of San Carlos, CA, died Monday, June 25, 2007. She is survived by her spouse, Jerome A. Mattingly of Placitas; step-children, Monica Borrowman and husband, Todd of Washington, IL and Brian Mattingly and wife, Melanie of St. Paul, MN; five grandchildren; brother, Stan Snyder of Spring Grove, PA; sister, Sally Cain of Lebanon, PA; two nieces; and one nephew. Suzanne was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Eleanor Snyder formerly of Thomasville, PA. She received her B.S. from Penn State and her Ph.D. in Molecular Virology from the Medical College of Virginia. Suzanne was a respected marketing professional for several biotechnology companies in Maryland and California before moving to New Mexico to work for Exagen Diagnostics in Albuquerque. She was a proficient instrument-rated aviator with over 2,000 hours of flight time and she was an accomplished artist with chalk, charcoal and pastels. Her energy and vitality, love of life, family and friends, her passions for many various activities such as birding, cooking, gardening, pilates, reading, and traveling and her generous and kind nature will be warmly remembered. A loving wife, stepmother and grandmother, her ashes will be released over her favorite flying places in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. MAYER -- Norman O. Mayer, 82, passed away peacefully at his home June 23, 2007. Norman, formerly from Wichita, KS and Queens, NY, was a 30-year resident of Rio Rancho. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mayer and his daughter, Ethelann Mayer. He is survived by his brother, Olen Dean Mayer and wife, Bobby of Richmond, MO; his sons, Ronald Dean Mayer and wife, Margaret of Albion, PA, and Samuel Mayer of Albuquerque; his daughter, Diane Mayer of Rio Rancho; granddaughters, Jennifer Edwards, Deborah Brock, and Michelle McDonald and their families; grandsons, Dean Mayer and Robert Mayer; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. O'TOOLE -- James Michael O'Toole II, 64, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2007 after an 11 year battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was born on August 14, 1942 in Parkersburg, WV. He was a graduate of Abbey School in Canon City, CO, New Mexico Military Institute, University of Albuquerque and the University of Houston in Clear Lake City, TX. Mr. O'Toole was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6711, a 4th Degree Knight and a past Grand Commander of Guadalupe Caravan #234 International Order of Alhambra. He was a devoted volunteer in the Cancer Resource Center at Providence Memorial Hospital, and also volunteered at Sierra Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Judge James M. and Marion K. O'Toole of Albuquerque, NM. Mr. O'Toole is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Patricia C. O'Toole; son, Christopher Michael O'Toole and wife, Michele; daughter, Cynthia Marie Sirico and husband, Thomas. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Amanda Elizabeth, Brooke Isabelle and Meghan Lizette Sirico. PFAU -- Anna Pfau "Mae", age 71, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007. Born in Iowa, Mae was a 45 year resident of Albuquerque where she worked as a Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital. Mae was a Senior Regent of the East Heights Moose Lodge and member of the Civil Air Patrol. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ted Pfau; children, Sandra Pfau and Robert Pfau; grandchildren, Chris Robles, Elizabeth Bass and Robert Scott Pfau-Robles; great-grandchildren, Kynzie and Knolan Robles; sister, Lorraine Hansen; other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. RAMIREZ -- Vicente P. "Chente" Ramirez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was born June 19, 1934. He left this world to be with our Lord, on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, surrounded by his family. Vicente was born in San Cristobal, GTO and he was raised in Cuidad Juarez Chihuahua where upon completion of college in 1953, he became an elementary school teacher. In 1958 he migrated to the United States, where he met and married Estefannita Hern of Anton Chico, NM. Vicente worked for National Sales in Albuquerque for 35 yrs, as a Welder and Foreman. He loved deer hunting, was very creative, and in his later years he made arts and crafts for everyone he loved. Vicente enjoyed working on his yard, reading and was very curious by nature. He was a UFO buff, as well. Vicente also enjoyed attending the sporting events of his grandchildren. His greatest joy in life was spending time with them. Mr. Ramirez was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Estefannita H. "Fannie" Ramirez; his mother, Antonia Ramirez; his father, Antonio Ramirez; his brothers, Jose "Luis" Ramirez, Anthony "Tony" Ramirez; and his sister, Maria Ramirez. Vicente is survived by his children, Geraldine and husband, Darryl Farrington, Anna Ramirez, Vincent Jr. and wife, Judy Ramirez, Mark and wife, Yvette Ramirez; his sister, Alicia and husband, Javier Villegas; ten grandchildren; one great- grandchild; various nieces and nephews; his best friend of 49 years, Antonio "Tony" Garcia; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. REDMAN -- BETTE REDMAN, 83, (Beulah Ernestine Tegg Redman) passed away June 26, 2007. She had resided in Arbor Brook Nursing Home the last two years where she was rehabilitating from two strokes. Bette was born and raised in Norfolk, VA where she attended Granby High School and later the Peabody Conservatory of Music. She was an accomplished concert pianist and organist and she taught her children and grandchildren to play piano leaving music as her legacy. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Margaret Kiernan; her brother, John Buel Tegg; and her former husband, Dr. Jack C. Redman, M.D. She is survived by her six children; Jack and spouse Susan of San Diego, CA, James and spouse Judy of Scottsdale, AZ, Judy Redman Kirk and spouse Jeff of Copperas Cove, TX, Janet Redman Gallo and spouse Tony of Dunn Loring, VA, John Redman of Albuquerque and Joseph Redman of Waco, TX. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a double-cousin, Lucile Tegg of Raleigh, NC; one niece; and many nephews. SANCHEZ -- Anthony Ronald "Tony" Sanchez age 40, a resident of Bosque Farms, NM, peacefully joined our Lord and Savior on Friday, June 22, 2007 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Santa Fe, NM, to Isidro and Dulcinea Sanchez Jr. Though handicapped, Tony enjoyed school and made everyone proud when he graduated from Los Lunas high school in 1988. Music and Mickey Mouse were some of his favorite pastimes. Tony never knew the earthly joys we take for granted, but he knew love and loved everyone. He was loved by so many and will be missed by everyone who knew him, especially his mother who was his caregiver and who loved him the only way a mother could. When Tony was born he wasn't given long to live but because the love his mother and father and all the rest of his family he out lived his doctor's grim diagnosis. Tony was preceded in death by father, Isidro Sanchez Jr.; sister, Martha D. Vasquez; and brother, Joseph Sanchez. He is survived by his loving mother and caregiver, Dulcinea Erlinda Sanchez of Bosque Farms; brothers, Jimmy Sanchez and his wife, Sandra, David Sanchez and his wife, Kim of Belen, NM, Victor Sanchez and his wife, Luz, Patrick E. SANTILLI -- Alcide "Al" Santilli, long-time resident of Albuquerque, passed away June 23, 2007. Al was ninety-three years of age and had been a licensed glider pilot since 1932. The two great loves in his life were his wife Lois Lee, who predeceased him, and flying gliders with his flying club from their base at Moriarty, which he did, well into the ninety-second year of his life. Al was a graduate of Brown University and Harvard. After serving in World War II, he was stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base and involved in the Atomic Bomb program. SMITH -- Anna Margaret Smith, also known as Margaret or Marge to her friends, a 57-year resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, June 22, 2007 at the age of 87. She is survived by her daughter, O'Cilla Zeleny and husband, Don, of CA; brother, Truman B. Peters of PA; sister, Lois Shupp and husband, Donald, of PA; and many other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Eugene S. Smith; sisters, Elsie Lyons and Nancy Grundon; brothers-in-law, Charles K. Smith and Jacob S. Smith. Margaret was born in Middletown, PA. She moved to Albuquerque in 1950 with her husband and daughter and worked for Sandia Labs for 25 years as a data reduction clerk. Marge was very active in St. Luke Lutheran Church and three Masonic organizations: Desert Rose #70 Order of the Eastern Star, La Mesa Court #3 Order of the Amaranth, and Albuquerque Shrine #1 Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She loved ballroom dancing, for which she received several awards in the 1980s, relished playing cards with dear friends, and was an avid collector of clowns. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Margaret's church community, Masonic and social friends, as well as to the staff of Geriatrics Associates, Princeton Place (especially Unit 6), and Zia Hospice. STAEHLIN -- Dorthella Bigelow (Merrill) Dorthella was born in Eagar (Amity) Arizona on October 22, 1931. She was called home to our Heavenly Father's side on June 23, 2007. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked in the Primary and the Relief Society for many years. Dorthella was best known as Dot to all who knew her. She was and always will be a beloved mother and grandmother. She spent her life in the service of her family and friends. She loved painting, ceramics and sewing. Her best times were spent with her children and family in the mountains camping and enjoying the fresh air. Dot is survived by her children, Crest (LaRee) Merrill, Melanie (Darrell) Wyckoff, Rocky (Karen) Merrill and Tyla Merrill of Eagar; her step-children, Marsha (Lenard) Washington, and Alan Staehlin, Albuquerque, NM; 21 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Jay Grant Merrill; son, Gerick Ike Merrill; and second husband, Al C. Staehlin; her parents, Joseph and Dorthella Bigelow; two sisters; and four brothers. Funeral Services for Dorthella were held Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Eagar Stake Center. A visitation was held Tuesday evening, June 26, 2007, at Burnham Mortuary. Interment was at Eagar City Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary, Eagar, handled arrangements.

TELLER -- Louis Henry Teller, born September 27, 1947, passed away on June 23, 2007, surrounded and supported by loved ones. His son, Karl Isaac and his father preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife and love, RaeLynn; sons, Elliott Ross, wife, Cindy and grandson, Izzac, and Thomas Nathan, wife, Allison and grandsons, Damian and Noah; his parents, Eva and Frank Padilla; sisters, Victoria Weber, Celeste Padilla, and Marian Burkhart. He will be greatly missed by his extended family especially his beloved brother, Andrew "Tino" Teller. The sole proprietor of Teller Trucking, Louis not only served the public but also guided, taught and mentored many in the trucking industry. With a powerful and charismatic personality, he opened his heart and home to all lucky enough to call him "friend". Honorary pallbearers include Ross Armijo, Jeff Lopez, Steve Armijo, Peter Haley, Walt Nelles, Pablo Benavidez, "Porky" Martinez, and Mark Martinez. A Mass celebrating his life will be said on Thursday, June 28, 2007, at 9:30 a.m. at Queen of Angels Chapel (I-40 and 12th Street) with Fr. Emerick, celebrant. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (Paseo del Norte and Wyoming) with a reception to follow to eulogize, remember, and honor Louis.

WALKER -- Mary E. Walker, a resident of Albuquerque since 1984, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, June 23, 2007, after a long decline following a hip fracture in 2005. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Essex of Beavercreek, OH and Judy Kil and husband, Pat of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Barry Essex, Brian Essex, Dan Hanley, Lori Thomas and Corey Hanley; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob Hanley, Taylor Thomas and Chandler Hanley; two surviving siblings, Raymond Kominsky in Wyoming, where she was born in 1915, and Kate Nelson of Washington state. Mrs. Walker first moved to Albuquerque in 1942, to marry her lifelong partner of 60 years, Cecil J. Walker, who preceded her in death in 2002. The last four years of her life were spent at Aspen Care, where she remained sweet and loving to all who knew her. She always enjoyed sewing, gardening, having a clean house, and particularly being involved with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
