Joseph L. Beauregard, 86, died at home on Saturday, June 23, 2007. He was predeceased by his wife, Katie and son, Joe. He is survived by his son, Bruce and wife, Jeanne Beauregard and children: Joseph and wife, Melissa Beauregard and their children, Jacinda and Zidan; and John Beauregard and Jacqueline Beauregard, of California. He is survived by his daughter, Marcia Beauregard Fernandez and husband, D.R. "Rip" Anderson of Albuquerque and sons: Antonio Fernandez and wife, Stephanie Nevarez Fernandez, MD., Miguel and wife, Gabriela Fernandez, and Luis and wife, Kristy Fernandez and their son, Joaquin. He is survived by his son, Michael Beauregard and wife, Andrea Atencio Beauregard and their daughter, Graciela, of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his son Joe's widow, Melinda Beauregard and her children, Luc and Hayley Beauregard, of California. The family wishes to thank Joseph's caregivers for allowing us to follow his greatest wish to remain in his own home: Helen Vigil, Carol Caples, Laura Garcia, Linda Garcia and Patricia Mascarenas. We will be forever grateful to them and to the staff of Hospice de la Luz: Wendy Klein, Katy Yankie, Lynnette Wallner, and Dr. Ricardo Ortega. Joseph's and Katie's cremains will be buried together at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2007. Daddy always said, "Don't bring me flowers when I'm dead.
