Etta Jeanne Allen passed away June 26, 2007 at home in Albuquerque. She was born June 13, 1926 in Fort Worth, TX. Jeanne, as she was known, retired from Albuquerque Public Schools but continued to substitute teach until 2006. She was a devout Christian and was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School since 1974. She was an avid Lobo Fan, and was a devout mother, grandmother and "Nana". Jeanne will be greatly missed by her family, church family, precious ladies of Joy Sunday School Class and all who knew and loved her. She is survived by daughter, Jayne Muse: son, Joe Allen and wife, Terri; daughter, Lynne Lamar, Cindy Martinelli, and Cathy Olague and husband, Larry; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, son-in-law, Dan Lamar. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Thursday, June 28, 2007, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 29, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE 87111.
