Baca -- Diego Baca, 65, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, February 3, 2001. He is survived by his sister, Tonie Garcia; and brother, Jimmy Chavez, both of Albuquerque. Mr. Baca was preceded in death by his son, Leonard Baca. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Diego had been disabled since 1991 and suffered until his death. Barnard -- Jack G. Barnard, 84, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, February 3, 2001. He was born February 27, 1916 son of Reuben S. and Martha Boen Barnard. Jack is survived by his wife, Wanda Barnard of the family home; sons, Steve and Jack Wayne; daughters, Linda Sims and husband, Jack, Marty Winquest and husband, Buck; stepdaughter, Diane Payne and husband, Steve; 12 grandchildren; and 21 geat-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J. Arthur, Reuben, and Homer F. Barnard; and sisters, Opal Brunner, Alabama Barnard and Dovey Denton. After serving in WWII, Jack settled in Albuquerque where he established Jack's Tree Service and J.T.S. Enterprises. After retirement, he enjoyed his membership at First Baptist Church of Albuquerque, reading his bible, gardening, bird watching and the companionship of his little dog, Spike. Jack was a caring, considerate person, who encouraged and helped many people during his lifetime. Services will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Dennis Lihte officiating. Flores -- Benito Flores, 80, passed away, February 4, 2001. Benito was born June 6, 1920 to Andres and Romanita Flores, in Cow Creek, New Mexico. He proudly served his country during World War II, earning a Good Conduct Medal, American Service Defense Service Medal, and Seven Bronze Stars. He served in many places abroad during his five year tour of duty, and finished his career in civil service. He was married to his loving wife, Clora Flores, who survives him, for 53 years, they had 11 children, Dinna and Ernie West of Pennsylvania, Kathy and Joe Purdy of Albuquerque, Rachel and George Enriquez of El Paso, David Flores of Albuquerque, Jerry Flores of California, Louella and Francisco Fematt of Albuquerque, Sally and Gerald Perea of Rio Rancho, Judy and Mike Jaramillo of California, Sharon and Phillip Lopez of Albuquerque, and daughters, Mildred and Sylvia. Mr. Flores also had 37 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by those who loved him. Visitation for Mr. Flores will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and an Evening Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., both at the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Garcia Mortuary, with interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Flowers -- Lucy Flowers, passed away February 5, 2001. She was born in Anton Chico, NM, and resided in Albuquerque for the past 30 years. Lucy was a founding member of Risen Savior Church, and served in Marriage Enrichment, Eucharistic Ministry, Palomas Nursing Home Ministry, Ladies Outreach, Ladies Sojourners, visitation and communion serving ministry to the ill and home bound, and she was also involved in the Knights of Columbus. Faithfully, even during illness, she participated in the monthly lunch for the Lord. Lucy never met a stranger. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Howard Flowers; daughter, Deborah Sandoval and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Michael Sandoval and wife, Alicia, Nancy Robles and husband, Mervyn; great-grandchildren, Austin, Shawn, Shelby, and Seth; sister, Mary Bernardy and husband, Hank; niece, Mary Ann Perea; nephew, Wilfred Bernardy; other family and a host of friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held in Albuquerque and Anton Chico. Services in Albuquerque will be held at Risen Savior Catholic Church, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2001. Frindt -- Ralph Andrew Frindt, 74, a resident of Albuquerque for 50 years, passed away February 4, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ralph served in the U.S. Army as an MP for four years and retired from IBM after 26 years of service. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and woodworker, loved to travel, and loved a good party. His wife, Phyllis Jean Frindt, with whom he celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October 2000, survives him. Other survivors include his daughters, Marybeth Whitehead, and husband, Chuck of Albuquerque, Beverly Frindt of Denver, CO; son-in-law, Howard Sylvester; two grandchildren, Amanda Sylvester of Canyon City, CO, and Nick Whitehead of Albuquerque; two sisters, Helen Nichols and Margaret Kader; and numerous other loved ones and friends. A daughter, Pam Sylvester and two brothers, Art and Edward Frindt preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kaseman Hospice. Garcia -- Lucia Garcia, 95, went home to the Lord on February 3, 2001. She was born in Canyon de Jemez, New Mexico on July 24, 1905. She was married to, and preceded in death by Jose A. Garcia, also preceding her in death was her son, Solomone Garcia. She is survived by her children, Emilia Garcia, of Albuquerque, Anselmo Garcia and his wife, Clementina, of Los Angeles, Louisa Lucero and Husband, Pete, Jerry Garcia and wife, Lydia, George Garcia and wife, Chris, all of Albuquerque, Tina Garcia, of La Puente, CA and Joe Garcia and wife, Lydia, of Baldwin Park, CA., and daughter-in-law, Jenny Garcia; she is also survived by her brothers, Thomas Naranjo and wife, Minnie, Gilbert Naranjo and wife, Esther, and Juan"Johnny" Naranjo; 28 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her loving family. Lease -- Troy Edwin Lease, 22, a resident of Albuquerque for most of his life, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2001. Troy was born March 11, 1978 the son of Timothy and Jacqueline Evans Lease in Denver, CO. He had attended West Mesa High School and Manzano High School, he loved to jet ski, enjoyed all water sports, was an avid Denver Bronco fan, enjoyed 4x4 offroading, and collected sports cards. Troy was preceded in death by one uncle, Richard F. Lease in 1995. Mcnutt -- Walter L. McNutt, 89, a resident of Albuquerque for 67 years, died Monday, February 5, 2001. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Denholm and husband, Tom of Spokane, WA; three grandchildren, Cade Walter Smith of Alaska, Denisha Lenay Berg and husband, Marc of Seattle, WA and Leala Marie Smith of Spokane, WA; and two great-grandchildren, Kian Benton Berg and Kyler Marcus Berg. Mr. McNutt was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Henrietta, two brothers, and one sister. He was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Mr. McNutt graduated from Central Arkansas University and received his Master's of Education from the University of New Mexico. He was past President and past Lt. Governor of Kiwanis Club, a life member of the National Education Association, and served his country in both the Army and Air Force and also in the Reserves. Montoya -- Mr. Erineo Montoya, 89, born to Juan and Josefa Montoya on November 16, 1911. Mr. Montoya was a resident of Cuba, New Mexico and Albuquerque. Mr. Montoya, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2001. Mr. Montoya is the beloved husband of 53 years to Mrs. Casilda Montoya. He is also survived by his sons, Andy and wife, Judy, Lee and wife, Becky, Ed and wife, Linda and Danny Montoya; one daughter, Irene Montoya-Byars and husband, Garry; 16 grandchildren, Christopher, Josette, Andrew, Robert, Christine, Roxanne, Danna, Michelle, Damian, Dominic, Lindsey, Fabian, Jacinta, Raquel, Justine and Adrian; six great-grandchildren, Joseph, Dominic, Savannah, Angelica, Daisy and Jeremy; two sisters, Bassilla Cordova and husband, Paul and Elfides Angel; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Yolanda and Jeffrey. Mr. Montoya, was a member of the Catholic Church, A proud Veteran of World War II, His tour included the invasion of Normady. He was also a member of the D.A.V. Chapter 3 and American Legion Post 69. Mr. Montoya, was a loving and caring husband and father. He was devoted to his wife and children, loyal and trusted friend, adminred and loved by all who knew him. Mr. Montoya, was also a Democratic Nomination for Probate Judge in 1956. Morse -- Donald E. Morse, a longtime Albuquerque resident, died Saturday, February 3, 2001. He is survived by Kathy, his wife of 41 years; daughter, Kelly Sullivan and husband, Marty; son, Dan Morse and wife, Kim; granddaughters, Sarah, Amanda, Stephanie, Julia Sullivan and Kaitlyn Morse; grandson, Kyle Morse. Don is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Janell Morse; brother and sister-in-law, Jim Morgans and Diane Donaghy; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Bill Gregory; special cousin, Dorothy Kendall; cousin, Charles Cooper; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Don was born October 19, 1932 in St. Louis, MO. After his father's death, he and his mother and brother moved to Albuquerque in 1938 where he attended elementary and junior high school. He attended Santa Fe High School and graduated in 1950. Don played football, basketball, and baseball at Santa Fe High where he received many athletic honors including selection to the All District Basketball and All State Football teams. Don attended the University of New Mexico on a football scholarship and was a member of UNM�s 1952 National Defensive football team. He was inducted into UNM's Athletic Hall of Honor as a member of that team. Upon college graduation in 1954, Don attended Air Force Navigation School and received his wings in 1955. After his discharge in 1958, he joined the Air Force Ready Reserve, retiring in 1982 as a Lt. Colonel. Following Don's military service, he returned to Albuquerque and began an insurance career that covered 39 years of which the last 21 years were spent as the Executive Vice President for Market Finders, Inc, New Mexico's largest insurance general agency. He retired from that position in 1998. Don was devoted to his family, and his children and grandchildren brought him tremendous joy. He was greatly loved by his family and friends. We will miss him terribly. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Friday, February 9, 2001, 9:00 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE, with Dr. Paul Debenport and Rev. Carl Soderberg officiating. Interment of cremains will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Paine -- Harold Paine died on Sunday Morning, February 4, 2001 in his Bloomfield, NM home after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was 81. Hal Paine was born to a farming family of seven children in Atkinson, Maine, March 27, 1919. After attending Farmington Teacher's College, Harvard, and Boston University and serving in the military from 1941 to 1945, he married Armella �Armie�Gluhank of Lorain, Ohio in 1947. He received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1950 from Case Western Reserve, served on the faculty of Kent State University, and practiced clinical psychology for over 44 years. He moved to Albuquerque in 1960, where he established a private practice and worked extensively with APS, the Child Guidance Center, the Family Court, and All Faiths Receiving Home. He was twice the president of New Mexico Psychological Association and served for six years as Chair of the Examination Board. He is survived by his wife of 53 years; and by two sisters, Arlene Osias and Myrtle Barker. He is also survived by his five children and fifteen grandchildren, Joan Paine (Mother Susanna) of Santa Rosa, California; Harriet Brown, husband, Cordell, and children, Cordell John, Trevor, Hadley, and Alex, of Houston; Judy Harris, husband, Mike, and children, Alisa, Dawn, Sarah, Aaron, Elizabeth, and Maria, who live next door in Bloomfield; Mike, wife, Elizabeth Baca, and children, Arcadia, Nick, and Jackson, of Farmington; and Chuck, wife, Susan, and children, Kellen and Dana, of Albuquerque. After retiring in 1994, he moved to a house on Bloomfield farmland in 1997, where he enjoyed his grandchildren and once again living in the country. He died at home, peacefully, with his family around him. A private family service will be held at the family cabin. Rarrick -- David Louis Rarrick, R.N., 49, passed suddenly on February 5, 2001. He is survived by his best friend and wife, Patricia; his father, Harold; his sister, Susan Herrera and husband, James, children, James Kristopher Herrera, Jason Tucker, Rachel Areadna Herrera; grandchildren, Jacob Herrera and Brandon Tucker; brothers, Mark and Shawn Rarrick, Shawn's wife, Kimberly, children, Samantha and Christine; his in-laws, Wendell and Marge Biggers and Wendell Biggers, Jr. and family; grandmother, Maxine Garrison of OK; and numerous other relatives and friends and Psycho-Killer, his cat of many years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Rarrick in July 2000. David graduated from Sandia High School in 1969 and entered the US Army in December 1969. He served in Vietnam as a Clinical Specialist (LPN) with the 101st Airborne both in combat and as village doctor from December 1970 to December 1971. He returned to the White Sands Missile Range where he was honorably discharged in December 1972. He then received his R.N. degree from St. Joseph's College in Albuquerque. After working several years as a Critical Care R.N. in So. California, he returned to Albuquerque in 1992. He worked in various nursing and management positions until his death. He was known as David the Night Nurse for his desire to work nights. David loved the excitement in life, his latest activity with Patricia was SCUBA diving. He was a great uncle, sharing the excitement with nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family and colleagues for his good humor and presence. Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at the French Mortuary-Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW with Rev. Mark Denton officiating. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Rauch -- C. Stanley "Pete" Rauch, 84, retired tax accountant, who lived in Albuquerque since 1978, died peacefully Friday, February 2, 2001. Pete was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 8, 1916. He graduated from Kane High School in 1936 and American University in Washington, DC in 1940. He worked as assistant to the Treasurer of American University until he enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1942. Pete graduated from training at the Coast Guard Academy as an ensign. He served in the Pacific taking part in several invasions including Iwo Jima. He first served on LSTs (Landing Ship Tanks) and later on frigates. Pete returned to civilian life and the University in 1945 with the rank of lieutenant. In 1946, he became affiliated with Price Waterhouse & Company, as a certified public accountant, and worked in their offices in Washington, DC, Long Island, NY and New York City until he retired in 1978. Throughout his career, he was active in the professional organizations in his field, serving as an officer of the Nassau County and New York State CPA Associations. The Rauchs moved to Albuquerque where Pete did volunteer work for many years, particularly with the Small Business Administration and the Albuquerque Public Library. The Rauchs were also members of the Albuquerque Country Club, where Pete indulged his passion for playing golf. He played frequently until illness forced him to give up his game. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean; two beloved children, Eric and Kristin; daughter-in-law, Barbara; son-in-law, Richard Reif; four grandsons, David, Brian and Michael Rauch and Richard Reif II. The Rauch Family would like to invite friends to honor and celebrate Pete's life at an open house at his home on Wednesday, February 7, 2001 between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Ruddick -- Lois A. Ruddick, 78, born and raised in New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Monday, February 5, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Eugene Ruddick of Albuquerque; one daughter, Ann Williams; three sons, A.V. Romero and companion, Susan Heaton; Edward Romero and wife, Linda; A.J. Romero and wife, Karen; eight grandchildren, Jaymz Ryms and wife, Delayne of Georgia, Lisa Yvette Williams and Roxanne Williams, both of El Paso, TX, Rhonda Edwards, Billy Edwards and companion, Emily, Albert Romero Jr. and wife, Cynthia, Holli Elkins and husband, Mike, and Julie Romero and companion, Javis, all of Albuquerque; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Vigil of Albuquerque; and two sisters, Pauline Duran of Albuquerque and Frances Gonzales of Denver, CO. Mrs. Ruddick worked as a Beautician for over 35 years and was the owner/operator of both the Beauty Corner and Curl-Up Salons. She was a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church. Schneider -- Elouise Schneider, 74, died Monday, February 5, 2001, after a long illness. Scott -- Robert W. Scott passed away January 25, 2001. Bob was born on January 7, 1922 in Palisade, CO to Walter and Myrtle Scott and graduated from Palisade High School in 1941. He attended Mesa Junior College prior to joining the Navy in 1942, where he served on a Destroyer in the Pacific Theater for three years. He married Virginia Echternach on July 28, 1945, and was discharged from the Navy in September 1945. He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1949, with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Bob joined the Grand Junction Office of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission shortly after graduation and served the AEC and successor agencies in Grand Junction, Idaho Falls, ID and Albuquerque, NM, where he retired as Assistant Manager of Administration in 1980. He joined Aerojet General Corporation, an aerospace firm in La Jolla, CA and was assigned to the Corporate Staff at the Liquid Fuel Plants in Sacramento, CA. He and Virginia returned to Grand Junction in 1985. Bob was a life member of BPO Elks, a past Master of the Palisade Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite, El Jebel Shrine and the Palisade Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two children, Tom Scott and wife, Madeleine of Westminster, CO and Susan Hook and husband, Tommy of White Rock, NM; four grandsons, Robby and Ryan Hook and Ben and Alex Scott; and a brother, Jerry of Oak Harbor, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a stillborn baby boy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand Valley Hospice and Palliative Care Center, P.O. Sedillo -- Fidel M. Sedillo, 90, a resident of Albuquerque and a World War II veteran, passed away on February 4, 2001 after battling cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Augustine and Onofre Sedillo, and by his brothers and sisters, Antonio, Epimenio and Melcor Sedillo, and Juanita and Veneranda Sedillo. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Gregorita M. Sedillo and a nephew, Lawrence Bernal. He is survived by a sister, Emma S. Bernal, who has taken care of him since he became ill. He is also survived by a daughter, Rose Marie Navarette; and several grandchildren; and his special Godson, David Lopez whom he loved very much. Mr. Sedillo was a violinist since the age of 8. Mr. Sedillo is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Veneranda Lopez and husband, Margarito, Ernest Bernal and wife, Eva, Leonard Bernal and wife, Rebecca, Yvonne Sanchez and husband, Placido, Bernice Trujillo and husband, Delbert and Tina Martinez and husband, Gilbert; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; cousins; and many wonderful friends and neighbors. A special thank you to Quality Continuum Hospice, especially Richard Garcia, Rebecca Whitlock, Martha Garcia, Cindy Depping and Cathy Conrad. You will always hold a special place in our hearts because you were so caring to Fidel, even though he was with you for only a short time, you made his last days very special. We love you all! Tipton -- Jean Ferguson Tipton, 74, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away peacefully at her home on January 30, 2001. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10701 Paseo del Norte. Reverend Dewey Johnson will officiate.
