Obituary for Mcnutt

Walter L. McNutt, 89, a resident of Albuquerque for 67 years, died Monday, February 5, 2001. He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Denholm and husband, Tom of Spokane, WA; three grandchildren, Cade Walter Smith of Alaska, Denisha Lenay Berg and husband, Marc of Seattle, WA and Leala Marie Smith of Spokane, WA; and two great-grandchildren, Kian Benton Berg and Kyler Marcus Berg. Mr. McNutt was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Henrietta, two brothers, and one sister. He was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church. Mr. McNutt graduated from Central Arkansas University and received his Master's of Education from the University of New Mexico. He was past President and past Lt. Governor of Kiwanis Club, a life member of the National Education Association, and served his country in both the Army and Air Force and also in the Reserves. Memorial Services will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlisle Blvd. SE, with Rev. Joyce Lieberman and Rev. Chris Lieberman officiating. Private interment has taken place at Sunset Memorial Park.
