Jean Ferguson Tipton, 74, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away peacefully at her home on January 30, 2001. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10701 Paseo del Norte. Reverend Dewey Johnson will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jean's memory to the Albuquerque Public Library, 501 Copper Ave NW, 87102. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE, is in charge of her arrangements.
