His lifetime encompassed many accomplishments. He had been a carpenter, farmer, millwright, welder, gifted gunsmith and knifemaker. He was an avid hunter and lifetime member of the NRA. Honor, truth, love of God and family were the hallmarks of his life of 79 years. Gerald worked in the oil fields of Kellerville, Texas; in the Boeing Aircraft Plant in Seattle, WA. He was also employed at the Hanford Installation in Richland, WA. Upon retiring from Hanford he was drafted into the U.S. Army Infantry and commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friends could say, perhaps you were not there at all, just thought or prayed for us that day. Whatever the part the Lord had you play to console our hearts, we thank you so much, and may He bless each one of you. The family of Severita"Sadie" Provencher Tapia.
