Hernandez -- Sophie Hernandez, of Albuquerque, NM, died on Sunday, March 28th, 1999, following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Sandoval. Mrs. Hernandez was born in Wagon Mound, NM to the late Carlos and Eufemia Sanchez. She is survived by her beloved husband, Juan Hernandez, of Albuquerque; her loving daughter, Wilma White, of St. Louis, MO; daughter-in-law, Marge Sandoval, of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Claire, Gina, Carlos and Jeannette Sandoval, all of Santa Fe and Christina of Albuquerque, Miguel Martinez of Las Vegas, NV and Alfonso Martinez of St. Louis, MO; and great-grandson, John Roberson of Albuquerque. Memorial contributions may be directed to the National Diabetes Foundation, the Heart Association and Lovelace Hospital Care, all of Albuquerque.
