Mr. John C. Lucero, 89, a resident of Isleta, NM. passed away on March 28,1999. Mr. Lucero is survived by two brothers, Joe Lente and wife, Lillian and Alfred Lente and wife, Wanda; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Lucero was a member of the Catholic Church, a disabled veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Visitation will be Tuesday evening in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 7:30 p.m., by Mr. John Jojola Sr. Final Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the St. Augustine Church in Isleta, NM with Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at 10:00 a.m., father Nick Nirschl, Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Isleta Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leonard Lente, Jason D. Chavez, Paul (Scooter) Chavez, Greg Culver, Jim Fender, Michael Chavez, and Kevin Lente. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr., SW in charge of arrangements.
