Gomez -- Eulalia S. Gomez, 85, passed away Friday, March 26, 1999 in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene P. Gomez; and two sons, Charlie and Benny. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Martinez and Dorothy Carriaga and husband, Levi; her sons, Orlando and wife, Nora, Gilbert and wife, Lucy, Larry, Alex and wife Emily, Richard and wife, Romona of Colorado, and Eugene; one brother, Louis Sandoval; and three sisters, Elsie Abeyta of Los Angeles, CA, Kate Martinez and Bertha Trujillo; 33 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great grandchildren. She was a longtime volunteer at the V.A. Medical Center in Albuquerque and a life member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 69 and the D.A.V. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at Nativity Catholic Church. Eulalia was greatly loved and will be missed by all. Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 7:00 p.m. on March 29, 1999 with Mass at Nativity Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on March 30, 1999. Burial to follow at Vista Verde Cemetery. Pallbearers are Eric Carriaga, Ramon Gomez, Ernest Gomez, Joseph Gomez, Robert Gomez and Steven Martindal. Arrangements by Direct Services, 2919 4th NW, Phone: 343-8008.
