Her husband, David Manning Ackerman, a sister Herta Goldschmidt and her parents preceded her in death. Survivors include her brother, Karl Heinz Krueger and his wife; 3 daughters; step-daughters, Margaret Ackerman and ene A. Koch. Archibeque -- Salomon C. Archibeque, 80, died at home June 21, 2003. He is survived by his sons; Thomas and William, and daughters; Lorena, Loretta , and Kathleen; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters; Josie, Sadie, Mary Ann, and Tessie. Mr. Archibeque served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired after working for 43 years for the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad. Services will be held with interment at the National Cemetary in Santa Fe at 1:00 p.m., June 25, 2003. Salomon was a good and caring man and will be intensely missed by his family.

Casias -- Leroy Casias, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, was born August 5, 1938 and passed away June 21, 2003. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, two brothers, and his son Frankie. Leroy is survived by his children, Roberta Martinez and her husband, Robert, Sylvia Hansley and husband, Trent, Steve Casias and wife, Dorothy; five grandchildren and one great - grandchild, Louie Casias and wife, Bessie, Elsie, Raymond and wife, Eva, Albert, Priscilla, Mary and husband, Raymond, and Rudy. Services will be held at St Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2003. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 with burial following at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert D. Casias -- Sharon Kay Casias, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on June 22, 2003. Sharon was born on January 21, 1952 in Seattle, Washington to Edwin and Lois Wangen. She was very fond of doing needlepoint, cross-stitch, quilting and sewing. Sharon was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Seven Bar Loop Stake Center, where she was extremely active in many church activities. She was a very loving daughter, mother, and grandmother and will deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Wangen; and her niece, Ashley Jensen. She is survived by her mother, Lois Wangen; her five children, Maria Reed and husband, Roy, Ramon Casias III, Kay Thompson and husband, Jeremy, John Casias, and Sever Casias; sister, Toni Hamilton and husband, John; brothers, Mark Wangen, and Lonnie Wangen and wife, Dee; grandchildren, Lily Montoya, Nicole Reed, and Jermiah Thompson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends including, Tracy Conrad, Sally Brooks, Delpha Hall, and Terry Holt. A Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2003 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Seven Bar Loop Stake Center (Ellison @ Seven Bar Loop) in Albuquerque. Clemons -- Kyoko K. Clemons, a 36-year resident of Albuquerque, has returned to her loving husbands arms on June 19, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at age 72. She is survived by her children James, Janet and Margarette, daughter-in-law, Margaret, and grandchildren Darlaina, William, Jamie, Jerry and Gina. The best daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother as well as a giving and caring person, she had for many years taken care of others with her best friend and co-worker Virginia. After a long life, it came to be her turn to be cared for, and there are still good people now, as there was then. Our family gives heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Kaseman/Presbyterian Hospice personnel who where there when needed. Memorial services will be held at Fitzgerald & Sons Carlisle Chapel on Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at 9:00 a.m., followed immediately after by internment at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Curtis -- Wesley Edward Curtis, age 84, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 20, 2003. He was born on August 25, 1918 to the late Edward James and Annie Mabel C. (Walker). Survivors include sons, Mark Curtis of Albuquerque, Kipp Curtis of Albuquerque; grandson, Kristofer Curtis of Albuquerque; great grandson, Kelton Curtis of Albuquerque. Wesley's many accomplishments include; being a student in Dunkirk, NY Coll. Center, 1936 -1937, U. Buffalo, 1937 B.S., Alfred U. 1940, married Virginia Janet Austin, May 29, 1949; he was a Chemist with Atlas Feldspar Corp 1940-1942; research fellow Alfred U., 1942-1944; research assoc. Woods Hole Oceanographic Instn, 1944-1947; physicist U.S. Army Ballistics Research Lab, Aberdeen, MD, 1947-1956; system analyst Tech Ops. Inc, Ft. Belvoir, VA, 1956-1967; Sr. Operations Analyst Dikewood Corp Albuquerque, 1967-1983. Wesley was a U.S. Naval Ordnance Development award recipient 1947 Mem. Ops Research Soc. Am., AAAS, Sigma Xi. He was a member of the Elks, a volunteer for the Nat'l Atomic museum for many years, VITA Tax Prep Volunteer for shut-ins and indigent persons. Wesley was an avid world traveler, his children remember the many spur of the moment road trips. He traveled to Belize, Central America and around the world at least twice. Davenport -- Mr. Billy Joe Davenport, 74, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 23, 2003. Mr. Davenport is survived by his children, Rick Joe Davenport, Tanya Marie Moraga, Frank Paul Davenport and wife, Carrie, Veronica Lynn Gonzales and husband, Robert, Rebecca Jo Gallegos and husband Allen, Jacquita Ann Baca, Marty Davenport, Michelle Yanez and husband, Steve, Linda, Brenda and Billy Joe Jr. of Eureka, Ca.;five sisters, Anna Lou King, Laura Sue Lucas, Mayola Anderson and husband Rocky, Bonnie Jean Stroup and Dorla Dean Lutz; two brothers, William Franklin Davenport Jr. and wife, Lola, Pastor James Steven Davenport and wife, Linda; 32 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Davenport is preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla Marie Davenport; a son, Mitchell Davenport; a brother, Emanuel Leon Davenport; and a sister, Mary Ellen Stephens. Mr. Davenport is a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean Conflict, a member of the Local Carpenters Union for many years, he loved his entire family and will be missed by all. Hudson -- Robert Calvin"Bob" Hudson, Jr., 55, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1994, and coming to New Mexico from High Ridge, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2003. Bob was born April 2, 1948 the son of Robert Calvin and Rosemary Hatfield Hudson, Sr. in Salem, Missouri. He had been a Real Estate agent with the Coldwell Banker Real Estate agency before his death. Bob was an avid sports fan, loved to play golf, darts, baseball, and go fishing. He watched as many sports as possible, including the above, as well as hockey and football, and the NASCAR races. Bob was proud of his military service. He served in the US Navy and was aboard three ships, including the USS Frank E. Evans. He was a member of the High Ridge, Missouri Elks Club and the Rio Rancho Elks Club. He was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and a former member of Hope Lutheran Church in High Ridge, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary in 1981 and a sister-in-law, Brenda Hudson in 2000. Bob is survived by his wife of 34 years, Diane of the family home; his father, Robert Hudson, Sr.; four children, Tara R. Hudson, Barbara L. Kohn and husband Tim of High Ridge, MO, Amanda L. Hudson of Fenton, MO, and Robert P. Hudson; one sister, Kathy Hickerson; one brother, Bruce Hudson; one grandchild, Lauren Elizabeth Kohn; and three nieces, Kendra Butrum, Teresa Weis, and Kristy Hudson. The Service for Bob will be held today, Tuesday, June 24, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 2400 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho, with Pastor Robert Pinta officiating. Kraft -- Eugene M. Kraft was born the son of Michael Kraft and Mary (Knecht) Kraft on October 17, 1928 in Kansas City, KS where he grew up. Niles completed his high school education at St. Francis Seminary in Cincinnati, OH. He was received into the novitiate on August 15, 1946 and made his first profession of vows on August 16, 1947 at Mt. Airy (Cincinnati, OH). He pursued Philosophy studies at Duns Scotus College in Southfield, (Detroit, MI) and made solemn vows there on August 16, 1950. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 8, 1955 at the Theologate in Oldenburg, IN. Prior to coming to the Native missions of the Southwest, Niles served in parishes in Cincinnati, OH and Lafayette, IN. In July 1959, he arrived at Zuni Pueblo and served as pastor and fund raiser for the parish grade school until August 1973. He also ministered in parishes at St. Fidel, NM and Dunedin and Gulfport, FL before being assigned to St. Berard Mission in navajo, NM in June 1977. Here he lived and served his beloved Navajo brothers and sisters until his death on June 20, 2003. Niles was devoted to the Native American apostolates of OLG and SJB provinces. He initiated innovative collaborative ministry with various religious sisters' congregations over the years at his missions and encouraged and ministered with navajo permanent deacons and their wives with much success. Niles was highly respectful of Native culture and traditions and will be missed by the countless lives he touched with his caring Franciscan ministry over the years. He is survived by his sister, Gertrude Knipper of Pensacola, FL; and Vincent Kraft of Kansas City, KS; and numerous nieces and nephews. Personal expressions of sympathy to Niles' family can be made to Jeanne and Martha Stonestreet, 4731 Switzer, Merriam, KS, 66203-1260. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Franciscan Indian Missions, 1350 Lakeview Rd., SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105. Lodin -- Helen Alt Lodin, age 89, of Albuquerque and formerly of Dupont, PA, died Saturday, June 21, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vince in June 1999. The daughter of the late Andrew and Frances Koterba Alt. Dearly beloved sister of Paul Alt of Dupont, PA and the late John Alt of Mt. Pocono, PA devoted and adored stepmother of Ginger Kloppenberg and husband, Ken. Also surviving are grandsons, Jerry Kloppenberg and family and Craig Kloppenberg and family, great grandchildren, Kelsie, Corbin and Lodin, several nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Pittston High School and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of nursing in 1934. A registered nurse, she inspired all around her by her determination, faith and energy she will be in our hearts always. Lucero -- Tomas Lucero from Seboyeta, NM has gone to be with the Lord June 20, 2003. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Francisco Lucero. He was preceded by Eulalio Lucero and survived by four sisters, Cimona Salas from Benica, CA, Refufia Eickhoss from Sonoma, CA, Rupe Lucero from Glendale, CA and Nora Lester from Norfolk, VA; a brother, Bonicio Lucero from Glendale, CA; several nieces and nephews. Matteson -- Jacob O. Matteson, age 88, beloved husband, father, and grandfather was welcomed into the arms of the Lord our Savior, Friday, June 20, 2003 while surrounded by his loving family. Jacob was a resident of Albuquerque; a parishioner of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church; and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a proud Veteran of the Untied States Army who served our country during World War II; and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Post # 15032. Jacob is survived by his loving wife Frances. T. Matteson of the family home; his children, Jacob F. Matteson, Audie F. Morris, Marie Yee Fong and Juan Yee Fong; his precious grandchildren, Carri L. Tucker -- James Bruce Tucker, M.D., died Saturday, June 14, 2003 of natural causes. Dr. Tucker was born March 4, 1908 in Troy, Tennessee. He graduated from medical school at the University of Tennessee in 1935 and married Jennie Laverne Daniels. Dr. Tucker practiced medicine in Texas, Tennessee, Alaska, and Arizona for forty years. During his medical career, he was active in local and state medical societies, including being named as one of the earliest members of the National Board of Family Practice, his appointment as President of the Pinal County Medical Board, and his tenures as Chief of Staff of Homeoko Hospital, Pinal County Hospital, and Maynard Memorial Hospital. He had been named President of the Pinal County Medical Society several times. Dr. Tucker retired from private practice in 1973, and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Jennie Laverne Tucker, daughter; Phyllis L. Miller of Albuquerque, grandsons; Harry B. Tucker of Nampa, Idaho, Thomas I. Tucker of Albuquerque, Richard J. Tucker of Boise, Idaho, Christopher S. Miller of Seattle, Washington, great grandchildren; Amanda Tucker, Tony Tucker, Ky Tucker, and Kody Tucker, great great-grandchild; Antonio Tucker-Cruz, nieces; Billie Lynn Tucker-Brown and Mary Ann Tucker-Matzdorf of Arizona, and Nancy Birdsong, as well as Charles Jones and Horace Jones of Tennessee, and John, Jerry, and Carl Dorman of Arkansas. Williamson -- Betty McCorkle Williamson, a third generation NM native and resident of Albuquerque for 44 years passed away on Sunday, 6/22/03. She was born in Alamogordo, NM to Robert R & Vina McCorkle on November 29, 1935. She is survived by her daughters, Ava R. Williamson and husband James Moore, Alexa Flores and husband Dan, Alicea Coyne, and Andrea Jones and husband Tom, her grandchildren, Paul and Cambria Madrill, Kelleen and Joseph Coyne, and Sarelle, Darby, and Haydn Jones, all of Albuquerque, NM. Her surviving siblings are brothers, Melvin (Wally) McCorkle and wife Loretta of Los Alamos and Sherman McCorkle and wife Cathy of Albuquerque and her sister Carolyn Carey Lee and husband Ron of Rio Rancho. Her sister-in-law Joanne McCombs of Roswell, NM and brother-in-law John Denton and wife Glenna of Amarillo, TX and several nieces and nephews also survive her. Betty s husband Paul (Bud) Williamson, parents Robert and Vina Davis McCorkle and her stepmother, Ava McCorkle preceded her in death. Betty and her family lived in several locations throughout NM; she graduated from Taos High School in 1954 and attended ENMU from 1955-1956. In 1956 she married Bud Williamson making their home in Roswell, NM. For the next two years she and Bud lived in Roswell and Las Cruces and had two daughters, Ava Ruth and Alexa. In 1959, the family moved to Albuquerque and added two more daughters to the family, Alicea and Andrea. In 1969 Betty returned to college and graduated from UNM in 1971 with her teaching degree. For the next 10 years she taught at Bernalillo High School where she loved working with her students. In 1980 she and Bud started the Williamson Insurance Agency as agents for Farmers Insurance. Betty had continued to operate the agency after her husband s death in 1985 along with her daughters Alexa and Alicea. In their early years Betty and Bud enjoyed hunting together in the Roswell area. In the 1980 s she was a part of the Alameda Little League, coaching T-Ball teams, was a contributing member of the North Valley Optimist Club and an active member of the First United Methodist Church serving on the church council. First and foremost was her family, she loved us dearly and will be greatly missed. A reception will be held at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel on Thursday evening 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Friday 11:00 a.m., at the First United Methodist Church, 314 Lead SW, with Dr. Terry Anderson officiating; another reception to follow. Honorary pallbearers will be James K. Moore, Dan Flores, Tom Jones, Paul Madrill, Joseph Coyne and Haydn Jones. Witherspoon -- Donald Neil Witherspoon, 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, passed away Friday, June 20, 2003. He is survived by his sister, JoAnn Witherspoon Hennington and husband, Robert Leo of Scottsdale, AZ; niece, Suanne Hennington Johnson and husband, Eric of Noblesville, IN; great-nephew, Patrick Hurley and wife, Jill, and great-great niece, Allison Hurley of Phoenix, AZ. Neil was preceded in death by his mother and father, Myra and Frank G. (Buddy) Witherspoon. He was born and raised in Hereford, TX, graduated from Hereford High School in 1951, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War. He graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 1956 and moved to Albuquerque, where he was a member of the University Church of Christ. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, at West Park Cemetery in Hereford, TX, with visitation at Rix Funeral Directors, 105 Greenwood, Hereford, TX, before the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Rd. Zutavern -- Emma Jane Zutavern, 86, died June 21, 2003 at Manor Care Sandia in Albuquerque. She was born November 11, 1916 in Claflin, KS, the daughter of John and Alberta Grubb. She graduated from Great Bend High School and attended the University of Kansas for two years. She married Frederick Sutherland Zutavern (deceased, Nov. 4, 1997) 65 years ago. Emma Jane resided in the Claflin and Great Bend area for 60 years. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ and actively served the community through many organizations. More recently she lived in Rogers, AR, Albuquerque, NM, Edmond, OK and Oklahoma City, OK. She was survived by: one daughter, Mary Ann and her husband, Dennis Sells; one son, Fred J and his wife, Vicki Zutavern; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and by an infant daughter. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2003 in St. Stephen's United Methodist Church in Albuquerque. Her remains will be buried in the Great Bend Cemetery after a Graveside Service at 2:00 p.m Saturday, June 28, 2003. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting that memorials be given to the 1st Christian Church, 623A N. Broadway, Moore, OK 73160, which was recently destroyed by a tornado.
