Dolores Montoya, of Santa Fe, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupita and Antonio Gallegos, sisters, Stella Wahnon and Jackie Bradley. Dolores married Peter H. Montoya on June 28, 1958 in Santa Fe, NM. She retired from JC Pennys and was a Eucharist Minister. She is survived by her husband, Peter Montoya; sons, Ronald Montoya and wife, Yolanda, Steve Montoya and wife, Jayne; daughter, Sandra Hickerson; grandchildren, Melanie Rodriguez and husband, Jose, John Montoya, Nicole Romero and husband, Christopher, Andrew Hickerson, Amy Hickerson, Steven Montoya and Bryan Montoya; great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Rodriguez; sisters: Effie Trujillo, Grace Martinez, Virginia Childress and husband, Roy, Rose Myer and husband, Ed, Susie Hamlett and husband, Art and Mary Lou Lain; brothers, Tony Gallegos and wife, Marcella, Salomon Gallegos and wife, Becky; special friend, Debbie Montoya; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, June 24, 2003, 7:00 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, June 25, 2003, 6:00 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 26, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery.
