Becker -- Cratie Elizabeth Becker, 80, a resident of Albuquerque for 35 years, died Friday, April 19, 2002. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Woodrow Becker and wife, Shirley Ann of Summersville, MO, Randall Curtis Becker of Albuquerque, Steven Michael Becker and wife, Deborah of Goodwater, AL and Robert Lee Becker and wife, Julie Ann of Albuquerque; daughter, Shirley Jean Becker of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Yvette, Michael, Carl, Andy, Christie, Sheila, Seth, Stephanie, Logan, Justin, Cory, Carly and Melissa; great-grandchildren, Mia, John and Malia; five sisters; and two brothers. Bustos -- Viola Bustos passed away April 18, 2002 in Pleasant Hill, CA. She was 84. A native of New Mexico, Viola graduated from Seaton School of Nursing in Colorado Springs, CO in 1941. She worked as a registered nurse for more than 30 years. She participated with Our Lady of Fatima Church, Albuquerque. The Blue Army Prayer Group and Christ the King Church in Pleasant Hill, CA. Viola is survived by daughters, Gloria, Rita and Laural Bustos and Linda Brosamer (Robert); sons, Benjamin (Marylou) and Manuel Bustos; sisters, Lila Maes of Santa Fe, NM, Adeline Fuggiti of Chicago, IL, Ermina Rudolph of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Manuel Alcon of Mora, NM; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her husband of 51 years, Benjamin Bustos, died in 1992. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE in Albuquerque. Calderon -- Albina R. Calderon, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, died on April 17, 2002. She is survived by her three daughters, Eva Vasquez of Carlsbad, NM, Emma Gallegos and husband, Tony of Albuquerque and Rose Ann Romero and husband, Mark of Albuquerque; four sons, Juan Carrasco of El Paso, TX, Abel Carrasco of Albuquerque, Manuel ¯Chito¯ Carrasco and wife, Marylou of Carlsbad and Ruben Carrasco and wife, Mary Jane of San Diego, CA; one stepdaughter, Lupe Sanchez and husband, Celso; and one stepson, Juan Calderon and wife, Rita, all of Albuquerque. Albina is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 33, great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Damas F. Calderon on July 31, 2001. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday at 10:00 a.m at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St. NW. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Cortez -- Fernan Cortez, 64, a resident of Albuquerque and a former resident of Farmington, died Thursday, April 18, 2002. Dauber -- Priscilla Dauber went to be with her Heavenly Father April 18, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Dauber Sr.; and is survived by three daughters, Jeannette Sanchez, Lilly Pacheco, and Lucille Padilla; three sons, Benjamin Dauber Jr., Leroy Dauber, and Rick Dauber; mother, Lupe Chavez; brothers, Bernie Chavez, Peter Chavez, Jacob Chavez, and Bobby Chavez; sisters, Frances Romero and Anna Maes; eight grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends who loved and will miss her. Delong -- Elizabeth (Beth) Jane DeLong, loving mother and grandmother, died peacefully after living with cancer for 2 1/ 2 years, Tuesday, April 16, 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Audrey Hagen and husband, Rody of Jackson, WY; son, John Robert Pansewicz and wife, Michelle Bevier of Wilson, WY; daughter, Camille Elizabeth Pansewicz of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Tomi John Hagen and Annabel Jane Hagen; and soul-sisters, Marie Killebrew of Albuquerque and Mary Bartholomew of Randolph, MA. Beth was born in Troy, NY and graduated from the University of Rochester School of Nursing in New York. She was a Registered Nurse for 40 years, most recently at St. Joseph¯s Rehabilitation Hospital. She was a positive healer for many years, and practiced Reiki and Healing Touch with her patients. Beth was a resident of Albuquerque for six years and she loved the southwest. Think of... Stepping on shore, and finding it Heaven! Of taking hold of a hand, and finding it God's hand. Of breathing a new air and finding it celestial air. Of feeling invigorated, and finding it immortality. Of passing from storm to tempest to an unbroken calm. Innis -- James Allen Innis, loved by all, passed away gracefully after a long illness on Monday, April 15, 2002. Jim was a caring and compassionate person who made great contributions to our lives. He was born on February 15, 1930 and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering. He moved to Albuquerque in 1958 where he practiced engineering for over 40 years. Jim designed the structure for the south wing of the University Hospital, the Psychology and Student Services buildings on campus, the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, several structures for the Albuquerque Zoological Park and the Natural History Museum, and many, many more. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Innis; his wife, Barbara Innis; two sons, Mark and Jim Innis; their wives, Lisa and Lynda Innis; his grandchildren, Michael, age 18, Jenny, age 16, Ethan age 12, Samantha, age 11, and Amanda, age 9; as well as his brother, Joe Innis; his sister, Jean Barber; their spouses and many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank Jim's brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harry and Betty Paynter and the Presbyterian Hospice staff for their love and support when we needed it the most. Jim, we will all miss you. Jaramillo -- Olivia B. Jaramillo, beloved mother, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, Monday, April 15, 2002. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth and wife, Marsha and John; her daughters, Mary T. Gallegos and husband, Gilbert, Lillian S. Andrews and husband, Michael; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, George C de Baca, Conrad C de Baca and her twin brother, Anselmo C de Baca; one sister, Marcella Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends and loved ones. She was a loving wife and mother. She was also a volunteer for many years at St. Joseph's Healthcare and was Board Member of the St. Joseph's West Mesa Auxiliary. Christian Services were held Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at Hope Chapel, Pastor Troy Robinson presiding. After proceeding to Santa Fe National Cemetery, interment was held after a short Christian Family gathering. She joins her husband, Gilbert, who preceded her in death in 1989. They had been married 43 years at the time of his death. Pallbearers were Seth Jaramillo, Michael Andrews III, Vincent Rodriguez, Peter Rodriguez, Sebastian Duran, Dale Perkins and Joshua Lingnau. Juarez -- Benito Juarez Sr. 33, beloved and dedicated father, husband and brother lost his fight to cancer on Friday, April 12, 2002 at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Born in Namiquipa, Chihuahua on April 14, 1968 to Simon Juarez and Gudelia Acosta Juarez, he had recently been employed at La Fonda Restaurant as a Manager. Prior to that, he was employed as a Manager for Gardunos of Mexico for ten years. Benito is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Bolivar Juarez; and three sons, Benito Jr. 11, Luis Angel 7, and Carlos Juarez 2; other survivors include three brothers, Rogelio and Erasmo Juarez of Dona Ana and Refugio Juarez of Las Cruces; four sisters, Evila and Guadalupe Juarez of Albuquerque, Irma Lechuga of Denver, Colorado and Elizabeth Chacon of Clovis; many nephews and nieces also survive him. As was his wish to move to Las Cruces, NM to live, Benito was laid to rest on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at the Masonic Cemetery in Las Cruces, NM. Serving as Casket Bearers were Rogelio, Erasmo and Refugio Juarez, Jose Luis and Victor Bolivar and Alfredo Rodriguez. Honorary Bearers were Rolando Chacon and Martin Lechuga. A Mass in his honor will be held at a later date in the Albuquerque area. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but live forever in eternity. John 3:16. We know that is where you are........

Kubitz -- Carol Summerside Kubitz, age 90, passed away April 13, 2002 at her home in Albuquerque. She was born November 16, 1911 in Huron, South Dakota to Frank and Caroline (Oestreich) Summerside. She was a resident of the Montebello Retirement Community for the past seven years. Prior to her move to Albuquerque she and her husband, Vern were residents of Gallup since 1954. She graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1934 and taught physical education until her marriage in 1938. In Gallup, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was extremely active with a number of community organizations including the American Association of University Women, the Hospital Auxiliary, Girl Scouts and was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star of Redfield South Dakota. She is survived by daughters, Anne Jue of Tucson, AZ, Julie Lucas (Curtis) of Hobbs, NM and Jill Chavez (Lee) of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Randy Jue, Debbie Jue, Lory Nunez (Ben), Kevin Lucas, Stephanie Behrens (Kirk), and Domonic Chavez; and great-grandchildren, Allison Jue, Stetson and Emma Lucas, Derrick and Cera Nunez, Christopher and Nicholas Behrens. She is survived by siblings, Robert Summerside of Pierre, SD, George Summerside of Libby, MT, Frank Summerside of La Mars, IA, and Rosemary Meyers of Phoenix, AZ. Mrs. Kubitz was preceded in death by her husband, Vern in 1984; son-in-law, Jim Jue; siblings, Dorothy Taylor, Helen Lawson, and Jean Summerside. Martinez -- Raymond G. Martinez September 7,1917 - April 18, 2002A lifetime resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico went home to our Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2002. Mr. Martinez was born on September 7, 1917, in Ojo de la Vaca, NM, to Pedro and Francesquita Martinez. The family moved to Santa Fe when he was a young child, where he would live for the rest of his life. In 1942, Mr. Martinez joined the U.S. Army and served proudly with Company D, 351st Infantry Regiment, 88th Infantry Division, in Northern Africa and saw extensive combat action in Italy during World War II. Upon his return to Santa Fe, he met Luisa Lujan during Fiestas and they were married in 1946. Mr. Martinez was a friend to all. A man of his word, reliable, dependable and a great source of stability to his family and friends. He was so very kind, gentle and unselfish; always ready to offer a helping hand, quiet and patient asking little and giving so much. He taught by example and left a lasting impression to anyone who was willing to learn. Talented, but humble, Mr. Martinez was a master brick layer and plasterer who used this gift from God to create beautiful masterpieces. He was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Santa Fe and a member of La Union Protectiva. He was preceded in death by his wife, Luisa; his parents; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Isabelita, Alfonso, Salomon and Frances, and Antonio and Socorro; and his sisters, Eloisa, Anita, Angelina Martinez and Flora Garcia and husband, Fidel; and two beloved, sisters-in-law, Josefita Romero and Frances Gutierrez. Mr. Martinez is survived by his sister, Adelaida Garcia; and sister-in-law, Mary Martinez; his children, Cecilia Martinez of Santa Fe, Christella Aguirre and husband, Mariano of Albuquerque, Josina Cisneros and husband, Larry of Santa Fe, Ralph Martinez and wife, Diana of Albuquerque; his beloved grandchildren, Jennifer Parkins and husband, Josh, Odelia, Samantha, and Raymond Martinez all of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren who were the light of his life, Mya Martinez and Aidan Parkins. Also, his"adopted hita," Julie Gallegos; and numerous other close family members and friends. Musrey -- Dana Laura Musrey of Boston, MA, 1968-2002. Perea -- Nella Perea, 61, passed away April 17, 2002. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, she was an active member of San Ignacio Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Pat Perea; daughters, Agness Orozco and husband, Juan, Lulu Duran and husband, Ventura; brothers, Juan Garcia, Chon Garcia, Andres Castillo and wife, Consuelo; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; special friend Gloria Baca, other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Perkins -- Robert McClure Perkins, Rio Rancho, NM, died April 17, 2002, of complications from a truck-automobile accident occurring on November 20, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; and sons, Peter and Steve; and stepdaughter, Dawn, who live with their families in Colorado. Also surviving are stepdaughter, Joy and family, Rio Rancho and Albuquerque. He is predeceased by his parents; and a half-brother. Perkins was born October 6, 1924, Idaho Falls, ID, but grew up in Olean, NY. He served in the European Theater in WWII and attended the University of Denver after the war, spending most of his adult years in Denver. He was an architect, read prolifically, and enjoyed music and being a jokester. Perkins actively served his church, Rio Rancho Presbyterian, in many capacities. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the church, 1004-24th Street, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Pratt -- Clifford J. Pratt born on January 15, 1923 in Crawford, CO passed away on April 16, 2002 at his residence here in Albuquerque. He is survived by his daughter, Jeanne Morales of Daytona Beach, FL; his son, Bill Pratt and wife, Pam of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Lijah and Keshia. His lifelong career was operating a Catapiller until his retirement. May God be with him eternally. He will be missed by his family and his friends.

Reubold -- Jeanne Sawyer Reubold, born in Chicago, IL on October 3, 1914, died in Albuquerque, NM on April 17, 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Reubold, of Albuquerque; a cousin, Dr. James B. Marks and wife, Nancy of Huntsville, TX; and several great-nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her"other" daughters, Mary Wells and husband, John; grandson, Philip Wells, and Debi Burud, all of Minnesota. She is also survived by the"livestock", Bubba, Boy and Hawkeye. Her life was enriched by Cathy's wonderful friends, especially Kate Piper and Cathy's best friend, Jim Sampson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Reubold. Jeanne was born in Chicago, IL and resided there until her family relocated to Wisconsin. She graduated from Columbia School of Nursing in Milwaukee, WI and did post graduate work in obstetrics. When Cathy started school, Jeanne went back to her nursing career, this time as an industrial nurse. She was very active in various nursing organizations and held state offices. She was a World War II veteran, serving as an officer in the army, mostly in the South Pacific, utilizing her skills as a Registered Nurse. She was very proud of her military service and was a life member of the American Legion, joining in 1958. After she and Art retired in 1970, they moved to Albuquerque. She then began another career as a Pink Lady at Anna Kaseman Hospital until health problems forced her to quit. She had a long, interesting and productive life and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Jeanne's wonderful doctor, Dr. John Guttman and the Lovelace hospice unit, especially Pam and Sherie; also to the wonderful, compassionate caregivers from Home Instead, Donna, Lori and our new good friend, JoAnn. Torres -- Elisa Pino Torres, daughter of Agneda and Augustin Pino, died peacefully in her sleep in Anchorage, Alaska on April 16, 2002 with her daughter, Janice beside her. Lisa, as she was fondly known, was born in Santa Fe on November 27, 1920. She was awarded an acedemic scholarship to attend Loretto Academy for high school. After graduating, she worked in Los Alamos in the early years of WWII. She married Matias Torres in 1943. They lived in many different places during their marriage, including Georgia, California, Alaska and Spain, but spent the majority of their marriage in Albuquerque. After Los Alamos, Lisa devoted her life to her family. She loved children, especially babies, and delighted in her grandchildren, Fredric, Peter, Julie, Bree, Teal, Caley and Joel. She remained devoted to the Catholic Church throughout her life. Lisa is survived by her brother, Tinsy Pino of Albuquerque; sister, Pilar Ruiz of Albuquerque; her daughters, Janice Torres of Anchorage, Alaska, Judy Harris of Everett, Washington and Betty Ramage of Olympia, Washington. From Lisa, her daughters learned to be strong, independent women. Matt, her loving husband and partner, preceded her in death in 1988. Memorial donations may be made to the Carmelite Nuns, 49 Mount Carmel Rd, Santa Fe New Mexico 87501-4597. A Rosary will be recited for Elisa at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2002 at St. Charles Borromeo, 1818 Coal Pl. SE in Albuquerque. Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo. Burial will take place at National Cemetery in Santa Fe at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Womack -- Daisy Lee Womack, age 73, died April 17, 2002. She was born May 2, 1928 in Atmore, AL to the late Charlie and Earkie M. (Quarker) Salter. Daisy is survived by daughter, Linda Reed and husband, Mark of Denver, CO; sisters, Sallie Florence and husband, Eddie of Moreno Valley, CA; brothers, Clifford Salter of Los Angeles, CA, John Salter of Atmore, AL; aunts, Charlie Jean Salter of Orlando, FL, Bernice Salter of Atmore, AL; grandchildren, Erika Womack of Denver, CO, Tina Perea and husband, Ramo of Albuquerque, NM; two great-grandchildren; and special friend, Doty Hoskin and husband, Bill of Albuquerque, NM. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Womack; and son, Carl Womack. Daisy was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2002 in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE with Bishop David C. Cooper officiating. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is entrusted to the care of Daisy.
