Fernan Cortez, 64, a resident of Albuquerque and a former resident of Farmington, died Thursday, April 18, 2002. He is survived by his daughter, Fern Cortez of El Paso, TX; sons, Patrick Cortez and Brian Cortez, both of Farmington; grandchildren, Abe, Justin and Audrey; five brothers; four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Rosary will be recited Sunday, April 21, 2002, at 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Services will be held Monday, April 22, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., also at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Sunday, April 21, 2002, from 5:30 p.m. until time of Rosary.
