Obituary for Jaramillo

Olivia B. Jaramillo, beloved mother, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, Monday, April 15, 2002. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth and wife, Marsha and John; her daughters, Mary T. Gallegos and husband, Gilbert, Lillian S. Andrews and husband, Michael; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, George C de Baca, Conrad C de Baca and her twin brother, Anselmo C de Baca; one sister, Marcella Garcia; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends and loved ones. She was a loving wife and mother. She was also a volunteer for many years at St. Joseph's Healthcare and was Board Member of the St. Joseph's West Mesa Auxiliary. Christian Services were held Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at Hope Chapel, Pastor Troy Robinson presiding. After proceeding to Santa Fe National Cemetery, interment was held after a short Christian Family gathering. She joins her husband, Gilbert, who preceded her in death in 1989. They had been married 43 years at the time of his death. Pallbearers were Seth Jaramillo, Michael Andrews III, Vincent Rodriguez, Peter Rodriguez, Sebastian Duran, Dale Perkins and Joshua Lingnau. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Olivia's name to Sandia Hospice Memorial Foundation, 4725 Indian School Rd. NE Ste. 100, 87110."Strength and honor are her clothing... she looketh well to the ways of her household... her children arise and call her blessed..." Proverbs 31:25-31
