Obituary for Delong

Elizabeth (Beth) Jane DeLong, loving mother and grandmother, died peacefully after living with cancer for 2 1/ 2 years, Tuesday, April 16, 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Audrey Hagen and husband, Rody of Jackson, WY; son, John Robert Pansewicz and wife, Michelle Bevier of Wilson, WY; daughter, Camille Elizabeth Pansewicz of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Tomi John Hagen and Annabel Jane Hagen; and soul-sisters, Marie Killebrew of Albuquerque and Mary Bartholomew of Randolph, MA. Beth was born in Troy, NY and graduated from the University of Rochester School of Nursing in New York. She was a Registered Nurse for 40 years, most recently at St. Josephs Rehabilitation Hospital. She was a positive healer for many years, and practiced Reiki and Healing Touch with her patients. Beth was a resident of Albuquerque for six years and she loved the southwest. Think of... Stepping on shore, and finding it Heaven! Of taking hold of a hand, and finding it God's hand. Of breathing a new air and finding it celestial air. Of feeling invigorated, and finding it immortality. Of passing from storm to tempest to an unbroken calm. Of waking up, and finding it Home.Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon, at the First Church of Religious Science, 3320 San Pedro NE.
