Obituary for Calderon

Albina R. Calderon, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, died on April 17, 2002. She is survived by her three daughters, Eva Vasquez of Carlsbad, NM, Emma Gallegos and husband, Tony of Albuquerque and Rose Ann Romero and husband, Mark of Albuquerque; four sons, Juan Carrasco of El Paso, TX, Abel Carrasco of Albuquerque, Manuel ¯Chito¯ Carrasco and wife, Marylou of Carlsbad and Ruben Carrasco and wife, Mary Jane of San Diego, CA; one stepdaughter, Lupe Sanchez and husband, Celso; and one stepson, Juan Calderon and wife, Rita, all of Albuquerque. Albina is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 33, great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Damas F. Calderon on July 31, 2001. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday at 10:00 a.m at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 4th St. NW. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roderick, Ron and Michael Carrasco, Michael Rodriguez, Mark Romero and Lonnie Gallegos. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Gallegos, Sammy C. and Johnny R. Vasquez, and Mark Carrasco. Memorial contributions may be made to Sandia Hospice 4775 Indian School Rd. NE, Suite 310, Albuquerque, NM 87110. French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd.
