Dukeminier -- Mr. Charles Dukeminier, 62, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 23, 2001. Mr. Dukeminier, is the beloved husband of 40 years to Mrs. Frances (Fran) Dukeminier. He is also survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Castillo and husband, Richard and Casandra J. Sanchez and husband, Jesse; one son, Duke Daniel Dukeminier and wife, Teri; one sister, Ramona Clark of Huntsville, Alabama; one brother, Henry Dukeminier and wife, Sue; nine grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Debra, Jade, Sydney, Jesse III, Felicia, JoHanna and JoElla; his mother-in-law, Eufemia Montez; four brothers-in-law, Jerome Montez and wife, Elaine, Danny Montez Jr., Bob Montez and wife, Yolanda and George Montez and wife, Sally; one sister-in-law, Virgina Herbolsheimer and husband, John; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Dukeminier, was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam Era and was a retired auto mechanic serving in the Albuquerque and Bernalillo County for over 30 years. A Funeral Service will be held Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with visitation after 9:30 a.m., Deacon Harry Beare, officiating. Interment will take place Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full Military Honors by the V. F. W. Chapter 3. Gouett -- Charles Sidney "Sid" Gouett, Jr., 67, loving husband, devoted father, and caring grandfather, passed away unexpectly on February 22, 2001. He was an outstnading athlete at Bishop Union High School, Bishop, California, and went on to play football for Witchita State. He was proud to have served his country in the Armed Forces. He became an accomplished real estate entrepreneur but was most successful with his family. He supported each family mamber in whatever dreams and aspirations they may have had. Sid loved to tell stories and he made everyone smile because we all knew his colorful stories stretched the truth a bit. He was creative with his hands, in the kitchen, wood shop, and the garden. He was an avid fisherman. Sid loved a variety of sports and was especially a big Lobo and Rams fan. Watching classic western movies was his favorite pastime and he knew where most of them were filmed. He was full of life and could easily make friends with 500 people on a cruise ship in three days. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Sue of the family home; his children and step-children, Krysti Gouett of CA, Pat Hulse and Suzette of Rio Rancho, Neil Gouett and Laurie of Thousand Oaks, CA, Shawna Hulse of Albuquerque; Susan Burleson of Salt Lake City, UT, and Erin Hulse and John Penery of Albuquerque. Sid is also survived by eight grandsons, two granddaughters, sisters, Gerogie Clark and family of Hanford, CA; and Ginnie Johnson of Bishop, CA, and countless friends. Hodges -- Paul Edward Hodges, 70 of Albuquerque, N.M. passed away at his home on February 23, 2001 at 5:45 a.m. Paul was born in Shawnee, OK. He grew up on the family farm in Belen, N.M. He served in the U.S. Force in Korea and spent the next 50 years working in the floor covering business in Farmington and Albuquerque. Paul and his lovely wife, Jeanette were married for 47 years. They have two sons, Tom Hodges and family and Scott Hodges and family. Paul always had a story to tell as his nick name was Oink, he was a special husband, father and grandfather. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Paul is also survived by his brother, Richard and wife, Doris and family of Farmington; and in-laws, Joyce Hodges and family of Belen, Twila Hodges and family of Apace, OK, Jim and Yvette Marshall of Albuquerque, Christine Hodges and family of Albuquerque, Charlie and Karen Marshall of Sandy Valley, NV and dozens of nieces and nephews and dear friends and neighbors. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Charles, his mother, Manilla and sister, Ona Mae; also three brothers, Charles, Vernon and Harold. Cremation provided by Sunrise Society of New Mexico. Turman -- Ruth Blance Carpenter Turman of Lancaster, TX. Entered this world March 25, 1912. Because of her abiding faith in Christ, she believed with all her heart that"Gold so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." She began the heavenly part of her life on February 23, 2001 and is now at rest with her God. In between those mortal dates, she was married to Robert Chester Turman for 56 years. He preceded her in death, but their deep faith kept them connected until she rejoined him. Ruth bore Chester two children, Bobby Neal and Sherrie Elaine. Through her love and nurturing, she instilled in them a love of God, a quest for knowledge, and an enjoyment of travel. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Ruth was a librarian, a Cub Scout den mother, a Dallas Independent School District employee, and a Sunday School teacher. An avid reader, she was able to sample many foreign locations and cultures even when her health failed her and her mobility was limited. Ruth is survived by her son, Bobby Neal Turman; daughter, Sherrie Elaine Archer; daughter-in-law, E. Carol Turman; son-in-law, Charles Archer; grandsons, Stanely Brenton Turman and Richard Brown; granddaughters, Brandi Caroline Turman Mantz and Angela Brown Moser; granddaughters-in-law, Dawn Marie Schwarze and Sandra Santos Brown; grandsons-in-law, Gary Mantz and Jay Moser; great-grandchildren, Christopher Orion Turman, Savannah Elizabeth Desiree Turman, Micah Austin Turman, Denali Madison Noel Turman, Harli Rose Moser, Jay Audrin"J.J." Moser, Jr., Manuel Robert Brown. Ruth's legacy to her family is her faith. Her strength was her Godliness. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. Baca -- Patsy Baca, 60, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2001. Stuart -- Charles Z. Stuart, 84, long time resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday February 21, 2001 after a brief illness. Born in Las Vegas, NM on October 24, 1916, he was the son of Anna Mae and Charles Zadoc Stuart. Charlie grew up in the coal mining communities of Van Houten, Swastika, and Brilliant near Raton, NM where his father was the butcher for the St. Louis, Rocky Mountain and Pacific Company. Graduating from Las Vegas High School in 1935, Charlie attended Normal University in Las Vegas before working for Standard Oil Company from 1936-1943 and again in 1945-1947, working in Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Gallup and Carlsbad. Charlie served as a Marine in World War II, stationed near Vallejo, CA. Returning to Albuquerque in 1947, Charlie was an aircraft mechanic for Carco, an air courier service in Albuquerque, which flew to Los Alamos, NM and Oakridge, TN. He worked at Manzano Base prior to his long career as a technician at Sandia National Laboratories from 1952-1980, his last position being in the Physical Standards Division, 2551, before retirement. Charlie loved to tinker, whether as a mechanic, carpenter, building scale model airplanes or HO series model trains, to recording music, and refinishing gunstocks. He loved the outdoors and fulfilled a long time dream to build a summer home in La Junta Canyon near Tres Ritos, NM, in the early to mid 1960's, spending of his leisure time in the canyon for more than 20 years. Always lending a hand, Charlie served on several Boards in the residential community. Charlie will always be remembered for his compassion, inquisitive nature, willingness to help and his humor. He was preceded in death by Fern, his first wife of 58 years, son, Dan, his parents, sister, Dorothy, and his niece, Dorothy Ann McEnroe. Charile is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; and extended family; his daughter, Nancy Stuart of Albuquerque; his grandsons, Joshua C. Stuart of Seattle, WA and Jonathan D. Stuart of Lemon Grove, CA; and great nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 4th and Lead SW, with Rev. Ira Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1638, 87103 or a charity of your choice. A Memorial Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2001 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1818 Coal Pl SE. Luna -- Mr. Mariano R. Luna Jr., a resident of Albuquerque passed away on February 21, 2001. Mr. Luna is the beloved husband of 45 years to Mrs. Viola Luna. He is also survived by one daughter, Marian Rose Trujillo; five sons, David J. Luna and wife, Leona, Arthur H. Luna and wife, Maricela, Michael J. Luna and Mac, Charles A. Luna and wife, Patsy, Tom C. Luna and fiance, Elizabeth; three sisters, Josefa Sisneros and husband, Napoleon, Lugarda Saiz and Amy Lucero and husband, Boni; four brothers, Salomon Luna and wife, Molly, George Luna and wife, Alice, Gilbert Luna and wife, Okie and Ernest Luna and wife, Erlinda; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Terry Luna and Mrs. Irene Luna; nine grandchildren, David, Christopher, Joshua, Kristina, Adrianne, Michelle, Randi, Jamie and Marcus. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Luna, was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict, member of Post 13, retired in 1984 from the City of Albuquerque Fire Department and a member of the retired Firefighters Association. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of The Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m., Mrs. Terry Luna, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with final visitation at the church after 8:30 a.m., Father Gene Gries, Celebrant.
