Wright -- Shirley "Nonnie" Wright. We celebrate the life of our beloved mother and treasured grandmother who, after a year-long battle with cancer, has passed on to her greatest adventure, doing so peacefully in the home of her daughter, Toddy Tackett of Albuquerque, NM, with whom she had lived and been an integral part of the family for the past 12 years. Also living in the home are son-in-law, Paul Tackett; grandson, Nicholas Tackett; and son, Rocky Wright, who had moved from San Diego, CA., to help with her care; her daughter, Amy Mauge; and grandsons, Michael and Casey reside in Hermosa Beach, CA. We wish to thank our father, Metz Wright of Tucson, AZ. (her "first husband" as she liked to call him), for his support and involvement during this time. We would also like to especially thank Dr. Nick Ritcher and his wonderful staff for their outstanding care and support, and Presbyterian Hospice, whose gentleness and compassion were truly angelic. Nonnie had the knack of making everyone who knew her feel like a part of her family. She is loved by many and will be sorely missed by all. Those of us whose lives were touched by her were truly blessed. She was a bright ray of sunshine in this world and is now a bright twinkling star in the Heavens. Heaven is the lucky one now.
