Obituary for Hodges

Paul Edward Hodges, 70 of Albuquerque, N.M. passed away at his home on February 23, 2001 at 5:45 a.m. Paul was born in Shawnee, OK. He grew up on the family farm in Belen, N.M. He served in the U.S. Force in Korea and spent the next 50 years working in the floor covering business in Farmington and Albuquerque. Paul and his lovely wife, Jeanette were married for 47 years. They have two sons, Tom Hodges and family and Scott Hodges and family. Paul always had a story to tell as his nick name was Oink, he was a special husband, father and grandfather. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Paul is also survived by his brother, Richard and wife, Doris and family of Farmington; and in-laws, Joyce Hodges and family of Belen, Twila Hodges and family of Apace, OK, Jim and Yvette Marshall of Albuquerque, Christine Hodges and family of Albuquerque, Charlie and Karen Marshall of Sandy Valley, NV and dozens of nieces and nephews and dear friends and neighbors. Paul was preceded in death by his father, Charles, his mother, Manilla and sister, Ona Mae; also three brothers, Charles, Vernon and Harold. Cremation provided by Sunrise Society of New Mexico. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE (between Candelaria and Comanche).
