BEESON -- David Drew Beeson passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on February 3, 1955 in Monroe, LA. He lived the majority of his life in Albuquerque, NM but moved to Piedmont, OK in 2002 to be closer to his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Linda K. Beeson; his son Michael Beeson; his daughter Tamara McKinney; his daughter-in-law Kate Beeson; his son-in-law David McKinney; and his grandchildren, Dawson and Casady McKinney; he is also survived by his two brothers, Elton and Larry Beeson of New Mexico; as well as many more family and friends. He was loved by so many people, and equally returned that love. He will be deeply missed. The funeral service will be held July 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Crossings Community Church in the chapel.

DUBBS -- Clyde Mitchell Dubbs. Clyde Mitchell Dubbs, born October 21, 1933, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 11, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Strow and Clesta Mitchell Dubbs, brother Walter (Jack) Barton and sister Clesta Mae Banes. He is survived by his daughters, Beth LeVane (Tim) of Loveland, CO and Meg Burdette (David) of McKinney, TX, brothers Strow of San Antonio, TX and Donald Keith (Betty) of Mineola, TX and sisters Dorothy Townsend of Yuma, AZ, Nancy Greeley of Grand Terrace, CA and Beverly Lee (Jim) of Cape Fair, MO. Clyde was loved by his family, friends, students, neighbors and cats. He was a Korean War era veteran, cyclist and retired Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, where he taught for 32 years. He is best remembered by his former students for his trademark "vandyke" beard and his personable teaching style. In his own words, "My goal was to generate an enthusiasm for learning in my students. I tried to show them where the value lies in what they're studying and where the joy is in it as well." LOPEZ -- Ted A. "Diz" Lopez, 67, passed away May 9, 2010 at his home in Albuquerque following a lengthy illness. He was born October 3, 1942 in Santa Fe, NM to Ted M. and Josephine Lopez. He graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1961. He was a retired electrician and a proud member, officer and brother of the IBEW LU 611. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, camping and going for wood. As his illness progressed, he took up gemology, jewelry making, and photography. He had a quick wit and a way of always making people laugh and smile. Ted was preceeded in death by his mother, Josephine Bustamante Lopez, father, Ted M. Lopez, sisters Mary Jo Moolick, Christine Marie Lopez, and granddaughter Antoniette Melissa Lopez. He is survived by his Aunt Annie and husband Michael Tony Sandoval of Santa Fe, Teddy wanted to thank Aunt Annie for "asking me to be the ring bearer at your wedding and I'm sorry for stepping on your dress". Children Monica Varela and husband Daniel of Pecos, Ted T. Lopez and wife Dorie of Santa Fe, Corrine Varela and husband Toby of Pecos, Antonio Lopez and girlfriend Gina of Pecos, Alfonso Lopez of Albuquerque; Grandchildren TJ "T4" Lopez, Jered Lopez, Antonio Lopez, Jr., Dominique Varela, Rianna Lopez, and Alex Lopez; Mothers of his children: Gloria Lopez of Santa Fe and Rose Lopez of Albuquerque; Siblings Cordelia Reynolds of McKinney, Texas, Lita Chavez and husband Walter of Placitas, Mary Jean McCoin of Albuquerque, Michael Lopez and wife Maria of Chama, Maggie Lopez of Santa Fe, and Anne Marie Gonzales and husband Robbie of Tijeras; many beloved primos, primas, sobrinos y sobrinas, extended family and friends. Ted wanted to extend his sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. William Berlin, Dr. Elizabeth Palmer, and the Heart Hospital of New Mexico nurses and staff. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, May 12 at 7:00 pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church in Santa Fe. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 13 at 10:00 am, also at Cristo Rey Church in Santa Fe, with Internment to follow at Santa Fe Funeral Options and Memorial Gardens on Rodeo Road in Santa Fe. Grandchilren will serve as pallbearers. BRUNSON -- Charlsie Faye Brunson, age 87 peacefully passed away on April 16, 2010 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born to James and Bernice Tinsley in McKinney, TX. Faye was a loving, caring wife and mother who always put her family's needs first. She was involved with the PWOC, The Roadrunner Waves, and was very involved in the church as a Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout leader and graduated from Stevens Ministries in Albuquerque and took time into her busy schedule as a Red Cross volunteer. Faye served her country proudly during WWII in the United States Navy. Faye is survived by her daughter, Melanie Brunson; and one grandson, Colton Troop and his wife, Kylie. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Brunson, Jr. in 2003. Her parents; three sisters, Marie Hensley, Amelia Chaffin and Eleanor Hensley; and four brothers, Robert Tinsley, James Tinsley, Charles Tinsley and Harold Tinsley. MYERS -- Victor Vern Myers, Jr., 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, is at peace with the Lord as of Sunday, March 7, 2010. He is survived by his wife of seven years, Ginger Newton Myers; three children, Mark Myers and wife, Cathy of Scottsdale, AZ, Vicki Fraker and husband, Todd of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Vee Ann Miller and husband, Mark of Aurora, CO; step-daughters, Shari McKinney and husband, Matthew of Colstrip, MT, Shelby Morris and husband, Terry of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; ten grandchildren, Dylan, Bethany, Jonathan, Jordan, Anna, Nathan, Colton, Caitlyn, Tyler and Haley; one great-grandchild, Carter; and numerous other relatives and friends. Victor was preceded in death by his first wife, Mae Beth Myers in 2002; and one brother, Dwight Myers. He was born on January 10, 1927 in Sheridan, WY and attended high school in WY and CA. Vic also attended Northern Arizona University and graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. He served proudly in the United States Navy during WWII. Vic established Vic Myers Associates, an electronics sales business in 1980, in which he was active up until his death. His employees felt fortunate to work with him. He was an avid trout fisherman and was involved in wildlife conservation. Vic also loved to sing and play his trumpet. He was very light-hearted and had a great sense of humor. Victor had high standards of integrity and was well liked by the variety of people he knew and kind to those he didn't know. In the words of Vic, "Thank God we are all different!" He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy NE, Friday, March 12, 2010, 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association of NM, 2625 Pennsylvania NE, Suite 225, Albuquerque, NM 87110. MCKINNEY -- Thomas William "Bill" McKinney died on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the age of 87 in his home in Albuquerque NM, with family and friends present. He was born December 4, 1922 in Agua Fria, NM. The youngest of three, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert "Bud" McKinney; and sister, Lillian "Sis" Kraus. He is survived by his cherished wife of 58 years, Mary Nell McKinney; sons, Jeff McKinney and his wife Cathy; Thomas W. McKinney and his wife Gail; Mark McKinney; Patrick McKinney and his wife Valerie; grandchildren Jessica McKinney; Travis McKinney; Elizabeth Nunez and her husband Francisco; TJ McKinney; Alexandra McKinney; Luke McKinney; and great-grandchild, Sebastian Nunez. Bill managed the historic Kimo Theater in downtown for several years and was a veteran of the US Army. He spent nine years with the NM Department of Game & Fish as a reserve conservation officer as well as having a long and distinguished career at Sandia National Laboratories, retiring in 1985. Bill especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and writing. He was blessed with countless friends, some who've preceded him in death as well as some who now are left here, missing him. No service is planned; there will be a small, private gathering where the family will celebrate Bill's life.
