HENZE -- Leroy Henry Henze, known to his many friends as Lee, passed away May 23, 2007 at age 85. He was born unto Otto and Ida Abel Henze October 12, 1921 in New Braunfels, TX. He grew up in San Antonio, TX. He had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1963. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Grace Salzman Henze, a former school nurse and by his brother, Nelson Henze survived by wife, Audrey of Temple, TX. They had four children, Mark and wife, Alicia of Fort Worth, Matthew and wife, Patricia of Kernersville, NC, Sharon and husband, William Burnett of Plano, TX and Diane McDonald of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Henze Williams, Christopher and David Henze, Erin and Lyndsey Burnett and Kristyn and Emily McDonald; three great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Christina and Nicholas Cooper. Mr. Henze was employed by the Bendix Corp. for 34 years retiring in 1983. He was a WWII veteran. He has been a member of St. Mark's on-the-Mesa Episcopal Church since 1970. Memorial Services and interment will be held July 6, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, TX. NELSON -- Lloyd Spencer Nelson, Ph.D., passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at the age of 83. He was born in Chicago, IL, in 1924, the only child of Elsie and Roy Nelson. After serving as a naval officer in World War II, he graduated with a doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Chicago. In that campus's chapel, he wed Lorna Manney in 1948. Dr. Nelson worked in high-temperature metals research at Bell Laboratories in New Jersey and at Sandia Laboratories in Albuquerque. After retirement from Sandia Labs, he continued as a scientific researcher at the University of Wisconsin and as a consultant. Lifelong interests included family, music, gardening, Boy Scouts of America, Indian Guides, Band Boosters, world affairs, and photography. Lloyd is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Lorna Manney Nelson; four sons: David and wife, Linda; Evan and wife, Debora Veseth, all of Roswell, NM; Jeff and wife, Sharon of Milwaukie, OR; Milton and his wife, Carolyn of West Hills, CA; and one daughter, Georgia McKinney (born Ardis) of Ojai, CA. Lloyd also leaves behind grandsons, Adrian and Kelsey Veseth-Nelson, of Roswell, NM; five other grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren who live in other states. EBEL -- Ted J. Ebel, 67, passed away at his home in Pendaries on Thursday, June 14, 2007. Ted, along with his partner, Dennis Brink, started and operated Albuquerque Auto Auction from 1978 - 88. It was the first and still the only dealers auto auction in New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Randee (Brown) of Santa Fe in 2005. Ted is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen; son, Garth and his wife, Melanie (Herrera); seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all that knew him. He was a kind and honest man, a loving husband, father, and grandpa. Services will be held Friday, June 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Rociada Baptist Church followed by lunch at the Community Center in Pendaries and a round of golf. PAULEY -- Ruth N. Pauley, 72, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away Monday, June 11, 2007 at Lovelace Medical Center, surrounded by her husband and three daughters. Born February 8, 1935 in St. Louis, MO, to Nelson and Alletta Dannewitz, she married William (Bill) Carl Pauley in St. Louis, MO on June 12, 1954. A Workers' Compensation Supervisor with GAB Robins for over 20 years, she retired in 2002. Ruth enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren, traveling, growing roses and reading. She is survived by her husband, Bill Pauley of Rio Rancho; her daughters, Patricia Marie Pfeffer of Richmond, TX, Pamela Ann Doherty and Amy Lynn Benson of Albuquerque, NM; son-in-law, David Pfeffer, Sr. of Richmond, TX; and her grandchildren, David Michael Pfeffer II, Jessica Leigh Doherty, Melissa Lyndsey Paulk, Dawna Marie Doherty, Christopher William Pfeffer, and Scott David Benson; granddaughter-in-law, Kimberly Pfeffer; and grandson-in-law, James Paulk. Family and friends will honor and remember her in a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Direct Funeral Services, located at 2919 4th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM. 87107. SENA -- Maria Domitelia (Tillie) Sena, age 76, passed away on May 11, 2007, at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Reno, NV. Tillie was born May 31, 1930, in Cuervo, NM to the home of Luis G. Duran and Petra (Lopez) Duran. She married Antonio P. Sena in Galisteo, NM in 1951. Tillie worked in Santa Fe, taught school in Pena Blanca and Cochiti for 29 years. She loved rodeos, extreme bull riding, fishing, reading, and cross word puzzles. She moved back to Santa Rosa in 1992. She moved to Winnemucca, NV after the death of her husband in 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Antonio P. Sena; a son, Mario Sena; brothers, Eloy Duran, Vivian Duran; and sister, Valeria Martinez. Survivors include her son; Antonio Sena and wife, Elaine of Winnemucca, NV; brothers: Juan Duran and wife, Pauline of Albuquerque and Robert Duran of Albuquerque; sister, Florence Cox and husband, Ed of Tulsa OK; three grandchildren, Catherine, John Sena and wife, Nancy, Jessica Sells and husband, Mark; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan Nelson, Josette Angelina Sells and Ambrosia Camou. Plus many god children, nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. Memorial Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. from St. Rose Church in Santa Rosa. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. also from St. Rose Church with Father Nick Nichols officiating. GRAY -- Dorothy Mae Gray, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007 in Prescott, AZ. She is survived by her son, Larry D. Gray and wife, Linda of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Kathy Nelson and husband, Jeff of Palm Bay, FL; grandson, Larry D. Gray Jr. and wife, Kathleen of Surprise, AZ; granddaughter, Michelle Houston of Peoria, AZ; grandson, David Nelson of Tallahassee, FL; and granddaughter, Kathryn Nelson of Gainesville, FL; brother, James Bowen of Bellevue, MI; and sister, Libbie Farley of Indianapolis, IN. Dorothy is also survived by her second love, John Geibel and his family, who brought joy and happiness into her life the past 19 years. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, L.D. "Dee" Gray. Dorothy was a businesswoman who took over the family business when Dee went to work at Kirtland Air Force base. After the business was sold, Dorothy was cherished by working mothers as she took care of the babies at the Kirtland Air Force Base Childcare Center for almost twenty years. Her skills and love for children was recognized with numerous awards and by grateful parents. Dee and Dorothy were instrumental in the successful move of the AA Heights Club. They were thankful for the care and support shown by many club members during difficult times. Services will be held Friday, June 1, 2007, 11:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
