Ruth N. Pauley, 72, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away Monday, June 11, 2007 at Lovelace Medical Center, surrounded by her husband and three daughters. Born February 8, 1935 in St. Louis, MO, to Nelson and Alletta Dannewitz, she married William (Bill) Carl Pauley in St. Louis, MO on June 12, 1954. A Workers' Compensation Supervisor with GAB Robins for over 20 years, she retired in 2002. Ruth enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren, traveling, growing roses and reading. She is survived by her husband, Bill Pauley of Rio Rancho; her daughters, Patricia Marie Pfeffer of Richmond, TX, Pamela Ann Doherty and Amy Lynn Benson of Albuquerque, NM; son-in-law, David Pfeffer, Sr. of Richmond, TX; and her grandchildren, David Michael Pfeffer II, Jessica Leigh Doherty, Melissa Lyndsey Paulk, Dawna Marie Doherty, Christopher William Pfeffer, and Scott David Benson; granddaughter-in-law, Kimberly Pfeffer; and grandson-in-law, James Paulk. Family and friends will honor and remember her in a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Direct Funeral Services, located at 2919 4th St. NW, Albuquerque, NM. 87107. Burial will take place Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
