Garcia -- In Loving Memory of RENETTA (RENEE) E. GARCIA September 30, 1960 - February 19, 2000 Forever in our hearts. Renetta Eligia Garcia, 39, a lifelong resident of Carnuel, NM, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2000. Rene was a parishioner of Holy Child Catholic Church; a 1978 graduate of Manzano High School; she was employed as a secretary with the Albuquerque Public Schools; she enjoyed football and was a Greenbay Packer fan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Delia Brionez Garcia; and a sister, Bernadette Garcia. She is survived by her daughter, Bernadette V. Garcia; her father, Johnny A. Garcia; two brothers, Richard Brionez of San Jose, CA and Leslie Garcia of Carnuel; three sisters, Judy Griego and husband, David, Emerald Martinez, both of Albuquerque and Norene Garcia and husband, Theodore of Tijeras; Godparents, Bernardino and Augustine Garcia, Richard and Alvita Garcia, all of Carnuel; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today, 1:00 p.m., at Holy Child Catholic Church in Carnuel, with the Reverend John Carney as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Child Cemetery in Carnuel. Casket bearers will be Leslie Garcia, Eddie Brionez, Ralph Brionez, David Griego, Jimmy Gutierrez and Dennis Aragon. Garcia -- Sabino G. Garcia, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2000, in the comfort of his home with many family members at his side. He was born January 4, 1922 in Los Angeles, CA, where he attended various Christian schools, later moved to New Mexico, where he attended El Rito Normal School. He was a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion for New Mexico in 1939, served in the U.S. Marines, the National Guard, 27 years in the U.S. Army, and retired from Sandia Laboratories at Kirtland. He fought in WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, and the Cold War. He was honored by the Governor, appointed the position of Colonel, Aide-de-Camp in 1959 and 1987. He served as D.A.V. State Commander in 1990 and 1991, and was a member of Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alice V. Garcia; sons, Francisco F. Garcia II and wife, Terry of Albuquerque, Federico A. Garcia of Albuquerque; daughter, Cassandra Snyder and husband, Kevin of Santa Fe, TX; grandchildren, Michelle Marie Bergevin of Mesa, AZ, Stacy Lynn Wingate of League City, TX, Alicia Elizabeth Garcia of Albuquerque, Victoria Marie Garcia of Albuquerque, Alan and Jason Snyder of Santa FE, TX; great-grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth Pratt of Mesa, AZ, Bailey Lynn Bergevin of Mesa, AZ, Cody James Crubaugh of Mesa, AZ, Bryane Michelle DeBaylo of League City, TX, Ashlyne Nicole Bulot of League City, TX, Tristan Patrick Ryan Bulot of League City, TX; family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Pl. SE, with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2000, Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, with burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Sisneros -- Mrs. Rumaldita Sisneros died Monday in Albuquerque at the age of 77. She was a member of St. Bernadette Church. Mrs. Sisneros is survived by her husband, Carlos M. Sisneros; sons, Dimas Sisneros and wife, Shirley and Albert Sisneros and wife, Carol; daughter, Fatima Garcia and husband, John, all of Albuquerque; brothers, Chris Sanchez and Celestiano Sanchez, both of Torreon, NM; 11 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Sisneros will be held on Thursday at Salazar & Sons Mortuary by Pastor Troy Robinson, where the service will begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carlos Sisneros, David Sisneros, John Garcia, Monica Lovato, Drew Marto and Phillip Garcia. Visitation for Mrs. Sisneros will be held on Wednesday, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.

Hettick -- Inez"Dusty" Werner Hettick, 70, returned to Jesus, Thursday morning, February 17, 2000. Inez came to Albuquerque in 1937 with her family, where her father E.R. Werner opened and managed the city's first JC Penney Department store. She received a Masters of Arts degree from UNM in 1966, and was a 50 year member of Alpha Chi Omega. Mrs. Hettick was a dedicated elementary school teacher, who blessed many children in Albuquerque, Western Samoa, and Southern California. Dusty spent her retirement years enjoying her children, David, Todd and Roger; her grandchildren, Heidi, Josh, Jared, John, Cristy, L.T. and Cassie; and great-grandson, Rowan. She will be remembered in a memorial service held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, at the LDS Chapel in Taylor Ranch.

Pallas -- Joseph D. Pallas, 79, of South Paris, died Friday, February 18, 2000 at Market Square Health Care Center. He was born in Washington, DC on March 8, 1920, the son of James A. and Hattie V. Plummer Pallas. He was educated in Washington, DC schools. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in WWII in the Pacific and in Korea as an M/Sgt. Prior to his retirement in 1976 he spent 30 years under Civil Service in the Dept. of Environmental Services as an engineer in the city of Washington, DC. He resided in Myrtle Beach, SC for 16 years before moving to South Paris in 1996. He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Myrtle Beach, SC and the Myrtle Beach Lodge No. 353, A.F. & A.M. He is survived by his wife, the former Irene R. Major of South Paris; one daughter, Anne and her husband, Stanley Lane of Albuquerque; one son, James Pallas of Concordia, MO; a granddaughter, Nicole Pallas of Greensboro, NE; and a grandson, Christopher Lane of Las Vegas, NV; two step-daughters, Carol Williams of Upper Marlboro, MC and Virginia Murphy of South Paris; a step-son, David Ragland of Virginia; three step-grandchildren, Chip Williams and Michelle Williams of MD and Carrie Hayden of Lewiston; one great-grandson; and three step-great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews of MD. He was predeceased by a brother, John; and a step-granddaughter, Laura Williams. Memorial services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2000 at 1:00 p.m., at the Weston-Chandler Funeral Home, 45 Main St., South Paris, ME, with the Rev. Henry Male officiating. Public Masonic services will be held prior to the service.

Archibald -- Kenneth W. Archibald, resident of Albuquerque, died February 12, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; his daughter, Valerie Quinlan of New York City; his son, K. Scott Archibald of Camarillo, CA; son-in-law, Lambert H. Koopmans of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Those grandchildren from this area are Melissa Wagner, Vanessa Wader, David Koopmans and Andrew Koopmans. Born in Soquel, California in 1906, Kenneth Archibald taught 36 years in San Diego City schools, and was a violin maker and instrument repairman for 48 years.

Jackson -- Joyce Elois Jackson, 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2000. Mrs. Jackson was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a talented artist. She is survived by one son, Bob Jackson and his wife, Ruby of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren, Betty Tierney and husband, Daniel of Beeville, TX, Rosemary Stakvel and husband, Curley of Cedar Crest, Lee Jackson of Houston, TX, Paula Hayden and husband, Jeff of Albuquerque, Laura Wood and husband, Woody, of Beeville, TX, Rex Jackson and wife, Julie of Austin, TX, and Tresa Coker and husband, David of Carrolton, TX; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, A.M. (Buck) Jackson in October, 1998; a son, Bill Jackson; and a grandson, Jay Morgan Jackson. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Services will be on Saturday, February 19, 2000 at Chester T. Housman -- Levi Colton Grant Housman, 14-month old son of Reese Butler Housman and Pamela Jo Housman of Fort Collins, died Sunday, February 13, 2000, in Fort Collins. Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Tyler Casey Housman, Matthew Kolln and Todd Kolln, all of Fort Collins, Cody, Patrick and James Housman, all of Albuquerque; one sister, Shannon Marie Housman of Albuquerque; grandparents, Jane Housman of Albuquerque, David and Patricia Housman of Albuquerque, and Kevin and Sharon Swenson of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and several aunts and uncles. A grandfather, Rinaldo Rex Benton, preceded him in death.
