In Loving Memory of RENETTA (RENEE) E. GARCIA September 30, 1960 - February 19, 2000 Forever in our hearts. Renetta Eligia Garcia, 39, a lifelong resident of Carnuel, NM, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2000. Rene was a parishioner of Holy Child Catholic Church; a 1978 graduate of Manzano High School; she was employed as a secretary with the Albuquerque Public Schools; she enjoyed football and was a Greenbay Packer fan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Delia Brionez Garcia; and a sister, Bernadette Garcia. She is survived by her daughter, Bernadette V. Garcia; her father, Johnny A. Garcia; two brothers, Richard Brionez of San Jose, CA and Leslie Garcia of Carnuel; three sisters, Judy Griego and husband, David, Emerald Martinez, both of Albuquerque and Norene Garcia and husband, Theodore of Tijeras; Godparents, Bernardino and Augustine Garcia, Richard and Alvita Garcia, all of Carnuel; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. A rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on the corner of 8th and Iron. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 1:00 p.m., at Holy Child Catholic Church in Carnuel, with the Reverend John Carney as Celebrant. Casket bearers will be Leslie Garcia, Eddie Brionez, Ralph Brionez, David Griego, Jimmy Gutierrez and Dennis Aragon. For floral assistance, please call 243-5222.
