Hettick -- Inez"Dusty" Werner Hettick, 70, returned to Jesus, Thursday morning, February 17, 2000. Inez came to Albuquerque in 1937 with her family, where her father E.R. Werner opened and managed the city's first JC Penney Department store. She received a Masters of Arts degree from UNM in 1966, and was a 50 year member of Alpha Chi Omega. Mrs. Hettick was a dedicated elementary school teacher, who blessed many children in Albuquerque, Western Samoa, and Southern California. Dusty spent her retirement years enjoying her children, David, Todd and Roger; her grandchildren, Heidi, Josh, Jared, John, Cristy, L.T. and Cassie; and great-grandson, Rowan. She will be remembered in a memorial service held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, at the LDS Chapel in Taylor Ranch.
