FORT -- Frank Wilburn Fort, age 36, former Nara Visa, NM resident now residing in Flower Mound, TX, went home to be with his Lord and Savior in Albuquerque, NM on Friday, November 21, 2008. Frank was born May 13, 1972 in Dalhart, TX. He had been making his home in Flower Mound, TX where he stayed with his friends Margaret and Jeremy Pieratt and their children. Margaret was with him in Albuquerque last Friday where they both passed away. He graduated from the Logan High School in 1990 and later received a BA degree in education from ENMU in 1994 and later earned his Masters in Education from New Mexico Highlands University. Most of his career was spent in education, he was involved at both the state and federal levels with numerous student leadership groups especially FFA and FCCLA. He had worked for both ENMU and the NM Department of Education. He was most recently employed at Pegasus Solutions in Dallas as a training specialist which allowed him the opportunity to travel all over the U.S., Europe and parts of South America. Frank was also a motivational speaker who spoke at numerous conventions, trainings and graduations. He supported breast cancer research and this past fall, ran in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in honor of Margaret Pieratt's mother and Joan Hargrave, his aunt. He also actively supported AIDS research. Surviving Frank are his parents, Ralph and Jan Fort of Nara Visa, NM; his sister Wendy Branstine and husband Matthew and their children Nikolaus and Renate. Frank's brother, Ferd Fort of Dalhart, TX. Also surviving are numerous loved ones, and close friends. Words can not express how much he will be missed. Services celebrating his life will be Wednesday morning, November 26, 2008 in Nara Visa, NM in the Nara Visa United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m., Central Time (10:00 a.m. Mountain Time). Interment will be in the Nara Visa Cemetery. Pall Bearers will be Luis Carrasco, Rudy Heredia Patrick Jaramillo, Ron Sursas, Jimmy Valentine and Lane Widner.

JARAMILLO -- Bernadita Jaramillo, 98, a life long resident of New Mexico, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 23, 2008. Bernadita is preceded in death by her husband Facundo Jaramillo, her parents Miguel and Concepcion Martinez; her sons Frank, Alonzo, and Dan. She is survived by her children Bernie Jaramillo and wife Concha, Lillie Tenorio and husband Phil and Marie Chavez and husband Wilfred, her daughter in law Nancy Jaramillo; and twelve (12) grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Bernadita was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the 8th Street Chapel of the Daniels Family Funeral Services, with Rosary following immediately at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 9:30 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with interment following at the Santo Nino Cemetery in Cebolla, NM. GONZALES -- Teresita "Terry" Gonzales was called by God from this life on Saturday, November 22, 2008 due to complications associated with brain cancer. Terry was born on April 12, 1953 in Socorro, NM. She was a life long resident of Socorro and was proud to be a homemaker for many years raising her children. Later she worked for New Mexico Tech in the Bureau of Mines division from which she retired in 2003 due to her illness. Terry was active with the American Cancer Society and in 2002 was the chairwoman of the Relay for Life walk in Socorro. Terry enjoyed caring for her family, cooking, sewing and crafting. Terry was famous for her "molletes" (sweet bread), which was a family favorite during the holidays. She enjoyed the simple things in life, watching her favorite TV shows, visiting with family and friends, reading books and all she ever wanted and enjoyed in life was caring for and loving her family. The family wishes to thank Socorro Good Samaritan Nursing Home, the doctors and nurses at the Presbyterian Hospital ICU and the wonderful caregivers at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Center for their loving care of our beloved Teresita. She is preceded in death by her father, Tony Gonzales; and her grandparents. Terry is survived by her two sons, Paul and Mario Telles of Albuquerque, NM; her mother and best friend, Mary Gonzales of Socorro; brother, Gil Gonzales and wife, Susan; niece, Stephanie; nephew Aaron; and great niece Marlie, all of Albuquerque; brother, David Gonzales and wife, Kathy; niece Danielle; and nephew, Matt, all of Chandler, AZ; her uncle, Stanley Sarate and wife, Betty of Socorro; aunt, Frances Sarate and uncle, Leo Sarate, all of Socorro; and many cousins and friends that loved her dearly. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro with Celebration of the Funeral Mass immediately following. Interment will be in the San Miguel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Matt Gonzales, Jerry Rivera, Gilbert Anaya, Anthony Montoya, Tony Duran and Tommy Sarate. Honorary Pallbearers are Aaron Gonzales, Marlene Rivera and Gary Jaramillo. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Terry's memory. GARCIA -- Juanita Garcia, 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1932, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, November 16, 2008. She passed away peacefully at her home. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the heart of her family and provided much love and strength to all those in her life. Mrs. Garcia gave of herself to her loving family, neighbors, and friends. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 63 years, Salomon A. Garcia in 2005. Juanita was born Juanita Romero in Dixon, NM on February 5, 1921. She is survived by five daughters who will cherish the memories of their loving Mom. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Juanita's daughters are Gloria Valenzuela, Martha Morgan and her husband, Alex, Elizabeth Jaramillo and her husband, Ramon, Rita Amos and her husband, Robert, and Marie Henfling and her husband, John. Her grandchildren are Gloria's children- Kevin Valenzuela and Janelle Valenzuela Apodaca; Martha's children- Dion Cruz, Deidre Sena, Doreen Avila, and Deandra Morgan; Elizabeth's children- Christina Lovato, Dennis and Daniel Montoya, and Dominic Jaramillo; Rita's children- Rick Sanchez, Jennifer and Samantha Amos; Marie's children- Aaron and Amanda Henfling. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces; many longtime friends and neighbors, all of whom she was so thankful for. She will be greatly missed. Juanita participated with her family as a member of the Catholic Community. Visitation will be at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church at 5311 Phoenix NE, followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass celebrating God's goodness and Juanita's life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 6th and Copper NW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dion Cruz, Dennis Montoya, Daniel Montoya, Kevin Valenzuela, Dominic Jaramillo, and Aaron Henfling. JARAMILLO -- Jaret Thomas Jaramillo, 24, a lifetime resident of Los Lunas, was called away by our Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 surrounded by loving family and friends. He suffered an unusual massive stroke on Tuesday. He had elected to be an organ donor and was held on a ventilator until Friday when suitable matches could be found and then he generously gave what he could so others may have a better life. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Belen and graduated from St. Pius X in 2003. He was the only child of and is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Patricia Jaramillo. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother Dolores Jaramillo; great-grandmothers Flora Trujillo and Sadie Noriega; aunts Renee Blythe and Christine Gutierrez; uncles Frank Gallegos, John Gallegos, and Margarito Gallegos; close partner of the past three years Celina Gaddis; and many loving cousins. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and big heart. He will be sorely missed. A Rosary will be recited at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Mass will follow the Rosary and there will be a reception immediately following the Mass in the parish hall.

MARTINEZ -- Flora G. Martinez, 84, resident of Tijeras, NM, went home to the Lord on November 15, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Arturo Martinez; two sons, Ramon Martinez and wife Dorothy, Diego Martinez and wife Lena; brother, Atanacio Griego; sister, Emilia Jaramillo; five grandchildren, six great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. MARTINEZ -- Ernestine "Tina" Martinez, 85, a resident of Albuquerque passed away November 14, 2008. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband of 66 years, Adolfo Martinez; her children, Joyce Padilla and husband, Chris, Nancy Castro, Kathy Del Rio and husband, Felipe, Ernest Martinez and wife, Pam; sisters, Delia Padilla and husband, Alvino, Marcia Fitzner and husband, Don; 11 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Gutierrez. Mrs. Martinez was a member of the Catholic Church. POSTERT -- Dora Elizabeth Miller Postert, age 85, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008. She was born June 5, 1923 in O'Brien, TX to P.D. and Dora Mae Miller. She was married to Stanley Postert, who preceded her in death after 27 years of marriage. Dora retired from the Veterans Administration in 1983. She is survived by her daughter, Jan Postert Sands of Albuquerque; her grandson, Walter R. Jaramillo and his wife, Heather and their son, Gavin of San Diego, CA; her granddaughter, Amy E. McEntyre and her husband, Jesse of Albuquerque; her brother, James R. Miller and his wife, Jane of The Woodlands, TX; her sister-in-law, Gladys Hicks of Grand Prairie, TX; her son-in-law, Will Jaramillo of Albuquerque; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Debra Postert Jaramillo on January 8, 2008; also by her sister, Thelma Miller Grant and her brother, Paul David Miller. BIROSH -- George John Birosh, 74, of Albuquerque, NM went to be with his Lord Jesus on Thursday, November 6, 2008. George was born June 19, 1934 in Mahanoy City, PA to John and Helen Birosh. He joined the U.S. Air Force on August 12, 1953. He played the saxophone in the 75 2d Air Force Band and traveled with the band to various cities in the U.S. While stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base, in Albuquerque he met and married the love of his life, Gloria Ann Griego and made Albuquerque his family home. Upon his discharge from the Air Force he began his career in marketing retiring after many years of dedicated service from GTE Lenkurt (Siemens). George and his wife owned and operated Amor Jewelers for several years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Gloria, his parents John and Helen Birosh, and his in-laws Pierre and Felicita Griego. He is survived by his sisters, Suzanne Prete (Tony) of Bonita, CA and Mary Louise Johnson of Naples, FL. Other survivors include his sisters-in-law Sadie Sanchez (Luz), Melba Guerin (Kenneth), Sylvia Osborne (Fred, deceased), Helen Sanchez, Rita Zaccardi (John, Deceased) and his brother-in-law Leo Diego Griego (Cathy). George was intensely fond of his many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, many whom he considered as his children Michael (Alberta), Mark (Karen) and Zachary (Connie) Guerin, Kathy Guerin and children, Brianna, Isaac, Matthew and Felicia; Monica Bergeron (Delfie), Michelle Healy (Sean) and children, Greggory, Peyton and Eli; Stacey and Stephen Griego; Paul, David, Joseph and Yvette Sanchez and Cynthia Mitchell; Carlos and Miguel Sanchez, Sharon Hernandez and children Lena Hernandez and Veronica Jaramillo; Greg, Patrick, Pierre and Elizabeth Osborne and Cecile Mosbarger and Annette Farnham; Laura Carpinelli and son Giancarlo and Kim Piancone and son Michael.
