Obituary for JARAMILLO

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday November 18, 2008

Jaret Thomas Jaramillo, 24, a lifetime resident of Los Lunas, was called away by our Lord on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 surrounded by loving family and friends. He suffered an unusual massive stroke on Tuesday. He had elected to be an organ donor and was held on a ventilator until Friday when suitable matches could be found and then he generously gave what he could so others may have a better life. He attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Belen and graduated from St. Pius X in 2003. He was the only child of and is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Patricia Jaramillo. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother Dolores Jaramillo; great-grandmothers Flora Trujillo and Sadie Noriega; aunts Renee Blythe and Christine Gutierrez; uncles Frank Gallegos, John Gallegos, and Margarito Gallegos; close partner of the past three years Celina Gaddis; and many loving cousins. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and big heart. He will be sorely missed. A Rosary will be recited at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Mass will follow the Rosary and there will be a reception immediately following the Mass in the parish hall.
