VIGIL -- Clarence Vigil "Vato Loco" beloved son and brother. Uncle Clarence went with the Lord on April 6, 2008. He was born in Gallup, NM on February 2, 1959. He is survived by his mother, Mickey Vigil; goddaughter, Melody Madrid Vigil; godson, Charles Madrid Vigil; sisters, Joan Marquez and husband, Jose Marquez, Mary Mejia and Rollan Mejia, Carolyn Campos and Carlos Campos; and Christina Chamberlan; several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Cleto Vigil and sister, Betty Lou Madrid. He was a very loving person, son, brother, and uncle. His heart was open to everyone and he will be greatly missed. He had a special place in his heart for his niece, Pricilla Romero "PJ". WALSH -- Rosemary Cowan Walsh, 78, died Monday, April 7, 2008 of heart failure. Rosemary was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on June 8, 1924. She moved to Salida, Colorado where she attended high school, then went to nursing school in Denver. She met and fell in love with Robert K. (Bob) Walsh in high school. They eloped to Raton, NM in 1950. They moved to Albuquerque where they brought up their four children. Bob and Rosemary moved to the Jemez Mountains in their retirement and lived there for 25 years until Bob passed away last fall. Rosemary leaves behind her four children, Rick Walsh and his wife, Melinda, Randy Walsh and his wife, Caren, and Roger Walsh, all of Albuquerque, and Robin Pratt and her husband. Michael of Swaziland, Africa. She is survived by 12 grandchildren, Austen, Skye, Rory and his wife, Delfina, Jocelyn and her husband, Leroy, Kerri, Casey, Marshall and his wife, Amber, Lee, Tyler, Jori, Beau and Khetsi, and three great-grandchildren, Judea, Austin and Beau. Rosemary is survived by her sister, Connie Jackson and her husband, Walter of Albuquerque, her brother, Jack Cowan and his wife, Helen of Colorado, and two nieces, Debra and Tamara and three nephews, Mike, Bryan, and Craig, and their families. They all brought much joy to her life. Rosemary was a happy and positive person. She was a devoted wife, and a caring mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always had a hug, a smile and a kiss for all those she loved. She loved to entertain and cook for her family and friends, and made everyone feel welcome, no matter how many showed up for dinner. She was emotionally strong and a source of comfort, understanding, and unconditional love. She fought valiantly until the end. She deserves her rest and is already missed terribly. Rosemary's life will be celebrated with friends and family at an undetermined time.

WRIGHT -- A. Jean Wright, 75, of Albuquerque, went Home to be with The Lord on Friday, April 4, 2008. She was born on October 8, 1932 in Oakland, MD to the late Kirk and Pearl Cosner. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Dewane Wright in 1983. Jean was a member of Hoffmantown Church and was a Bible Study Fellowship Discussion Leader. Jean worked for Christian book stores in Akron, OH and Albuquerque. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Locker and her husband, Taylor, Albuquerque; a son, Mark Wright and his wife, Rhonda, Rittman, OH; six grandchildren, Jonathan, Steven and Alicia Locker, and Billy, Bradley, and Blake Williams; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Lawrence Cosner, Oakland, MD; and her sister, Lois Homa, Sagamore Hills, OH. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at Hoffmantown church at 10:00 am with Rob Mahon officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Akron, OH. Aja and wife, Joanne, of Fallon, NV; brother, Michael James Aja; and his daughter, Ahjia Thorpe and husband, Aaron, of Missoula, MT; sister, Michele A. Aja and her daughter, Laryssa E. BENTLEY -- Loren Blanton Bentley Jr. was born October 4, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota of Loren and Betty Bentley. He received a BA from McMurray College and an MA from New Mexico State University. Loren taught high school and middle school for 35 years in a number of districts throughout Texas and New Mexico and was currently employed in the Roswell Independent School District. He had been principal at Pecos and Sunset Elementary and Mesa Middle School. He was also the 1995 president of the NMMI Parents' Club. His love of computers and travel led him to become a private pilot and to employment with Radio Shack, where he became a district manager, but his greatest love was the classroom. He had been active in judo for 50 years. He was an active instructor for most of that time and had students worldwide. He followed the maxims of judo everyday of his life and exemplified jita kyoei. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marjorie; his children, Michelle Fox and husband Robert, Loren III and wife, Angela; three grandchildren, Chase A. Fox, Loren IV, and Justin Bentley; his father, Loren Sr.; and siblings, Brenda, John, Paul, and Curtis Bentley. He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty. Services will be Friday, April 11, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at French's Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE. Albuquerque, NM. Internment will be at Southpark Cemetery, Roswell, NM, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. with a reception to follow. Pallbearers will be members of the Yawara Judo Association. CASAUS -- Ramona M. Casaus passed away in Albuquerque on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her father; mother; and one brother. Ramona is survived by her husband, Gilbert; one son, Antonio; daughters, Ana, Cecilia Archuleta and husband, Art, and Veronica; grandchildren, Michael, Ambrose, Jose-Antonio, Samantha, Natalee, Realin, A.C., and Jon-Paul; great-grandchild, Gabriel; one sister, Corine Gonzales and husband, Demetrio; many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. CASIAS -- Maria Amelia Casias, 74, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away during the early morning of April 8, 2008 with her husband at her side. She was born June 17, 1933 in Mora, NM. She was the middle child of five children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Magdalena Cordova, and brothers Fred and Lorenzo. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Pat Casias; daughter, Veronica Jaramillo and husband Raymond; son, Henry Casias and wife Kathi; three grandchildren, Jessica Jaramillo-Anaya and husband Louie; Justin and Ryane Casias; and sisters, Viola Cordova and Marcela Valdez. She was a strong, beautiful, and loving woman who adored her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her family's faith in God brings them peace, knowing that she is reunited with her loved ones and resting peacefully in Heaven. Mom, Grandma, we love you so much and we will miss you!
