ARAGON -- -Clara Aragon, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with her Lord Saturday, June 19, 2004. She is survived by her son, John B. Aragon and wife, Julie; daughter, Susie Gonzales and husband, Bernie; daughter and caretaker, Myra Aragon; three grandchildren, Julian Gonzales, Saundra Garcia and John D. Aragon; seven great grandchildren, Briana, Cruz, Tatyana, Jacob, Nevaeh, Monique, Miranda, and one great-grandson on the way; and sister, Elena Lucero. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Benito in 2002. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to cook, sew, and was an excellent wood worker who never shied away from household projects and care for her family. Services will be Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Oasis Family Church, 4800 Lomas Blvd. NE, 87110. BROWN -- Herbert R. Brown, 83, a resident of Albuquerque from 1955 to 1994, died Thursday, June 17, 2004 in Perry, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Coralie Brown of Perry, OK; son, Max Brown and wife, Nancy of Wichita, KS; and four grandchildren, Stephanie, Luke, and Beka Brown and Holly Wells and husband, Jon, all of Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carmen Brown of Albuquerque and his father and mother, Walter and Nora Brown of Brownsville, TN. Herbert was retired from Dennison Door Co. and had been co-owner of the 66 Caf‚. He was a WWII veteran. Services will be Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Manzano Baptist Church, 12411 Linn Ave. NE with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. GALLEGOS -- Pedro Gallegos, 86, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday June 17, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Lydia Gallegos; daughters, Eva Johnson and Suzanne Gallegos, both of San Francisco, CA; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces; sister, Predicanda Ortiz; and brother, Nick Gallegos. He was preceded in death by his mother, Guadalupe Gallegos; father, Dolores Gallegos; siblings, Luis Gallegos, Catherine Gallegos, Ofelia Castillo, Modesta Garcia, Amalia Encinias, Eva Cockerhan, and Francis Arguello. Rosary was recited Saturday, June 19, 2004, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. HURRY -- Minnie "Mimi" Hurry, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 In Albuquerque. Mimi was a member of the Methodist Faith and attended St. John's Methodist Church, Eastern Star Chapter Desert Rose # 70, La Mesa Court # 3, Order of the Amaranth. She was also the past Grand Guardian of the International Order of Jobs Daughters of New Mexico. Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul Hurry; one son, Harry Hurry; her parents; and one sister, Jessie Lois Brown. Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Hurry and Patricia Thompson; one Step-daughter, Laura Cliff all of Albuquerque; two granddaughters, Brianna and husband, John Bitner of Roswell, NM, Amy Jo and husband, David Wilds of Albuquerque; two great-granddaughters, Bryttini and Rebekah Bitner of Roswell;. Memorial Services will be held Monday, June 21, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE. LOCK -- Howard Bryant. Howard was born on January 27, 1909 and died on June 15, 2004. He enjoyed his last two years in Albuquerque with his family and many new and also long-time friends. He liked to say he was a "true-Southerner", having been born on the South Side of Chicago. After spending his working life in the Chicago area, he retired to Hot Springs and then Little Rock, Arkansas before moving to Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Helen Lock. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy J. Thompson of Brevard, North Carolina and her husband, Richard and her children, Jeffrey Paul Schreiber, Douglas Lock Schreiber, and Lisa Joy Baar; and his son, William J. Lock of Albuquerque and his wife, Judith M. Lock and their children, Jennifer Susan Lock, Elizabeth Sarah Bunzel, Robert Bryant Lock, and John Mason Lock; and five great-grandchildren. Howard knew his Savior Jesus Christ and was an active member of St. Mark's on-the-Mesa Episcopal Church in Albuquerque where a memorial service will be held Tuesday June 22, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. (431 Richmond Pl NE) to celebrate his life, Rev. MAZARR -- Charles Rennie, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, born March 26, 1919, died June 15, 2004. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Mazarr; and son, Robert Mazarr. He is survived by his daughter, Susan Mazarr-Proo; and grandson, Carson Taylor Proo. He moved to Albuquerque in 1950 and opened a restaurant with his wife and parents. In 1967 he began a new career in real estate and home building. He had a passion for sales and baking, and loved to indulge people with his homemade, culinary delights. He was a diligent worker who enjoyed hunting and woodworking. His love of his dogs helped him through the many years without his wife, Nancy. He will be greatly missed by his daughter. A short Memorial Service will be held at Strong-Thorne Mortuary on Tuesday afternoon, June 22, 2004 at 5:30 p.m.

MORALES -- Isaac C. Morales, ae 47, passed away, after a long illness, on June 19, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Albuquerque. He was born on May 24, 1957 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He moved to Albuquerque in 1976 when he married Donna Duran. He was a dedicated husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, and uncle and was loved by all. He is survived by his wife, Donna Morales. Also four daughters --Sonya Morales and Eugene; Felicia Medina and husband, Damian; Mandy Morales and John; and Shannon Morales all of Albuquerque. He is also is survived by his four beautiful grandchildren, Isaac Medina, Angelo Medina, Shaylene Olguin, and Eugene Olguin, Jr. all of Albuquerque. Two brother-in laws, Gene Duran and wife, Judy of Raton and Anthony Duran and wife, Deanna of Albuquerque; mother-in-law, Angie Duran of Albuquerque. He was also survived by his father and mother, Remijo and Hellena Morales of Carlsbad. Brothers, Remijo Morales, Jr. & wife, Jimmy Morales and wife, Corrina, Juan Morales, Ray Morales, Orlando Morales, Paul Morales and wife, Susanne, Michael Morales, Moses Morales, Edward Morales and wife, Maggie. Sisters, Viola Montanez and husband, Nilo, Irene Armendarez, and Veronica Morales. He also has many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sonya; maternal grandparents, Leonardo and Adela Castaneda; and paternal grandmother, Rita Fierro. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2004 at the New Beginning Church of God at 3601 Montgomery in Albuquerque with Pastor Richard Mansfield officiating. Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Isaac Morales will be laid to rest in Carlsbad, New Mexico at the Santa Catalina Cemetery. Service times and burial in Carlsbad are pending.

MORELAND -- Lorenze "Ronnie" Moreland, June 17, 1957 - June 17, 2004. Our beloved husband, son, father, brother, soldier and friend went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 17, 2004. He celebrated his 47th birthday with all of us and with the Lord. He is survived by his wife, Verna Moreland of Albuquerque; son, Michael Moreland of Seattle, WA; daughter, Jennifer Moreland of Edgewood and their mother, Felicia; parents, Lorenzo and Ufelia Moreland of Albuquerque; sister, Dori Davis; and brothers, Mark, Jeff and wife, Barbara, and Darryl and wife, Linda all of Albuquerque. Ronnie was very active in the Army National Guard and loved spending time with his fellow soldiers. He enjoyed refereeing basketball games for YMCA children and games for Kirtland Air Force Base employees. Ronnie was an avid Lobo fan. He rarely missed a football or basketball game. He always cheered for the Minnesota and Seattle pro teams because of his wife and son. As a brother, Ronnie was there for us to make us laugh, to lend a shoulder when we were down or to help us out. He had a nickname for all of his brothers, his sister, his children and even his wife, (KIDDIE). His parent's to him were Femia and Tige, and his son was Mel and his daughter was Stewie. Ronnie's Mom and Dad were very dear to his heart. He would call his Mom almost every day to check on her and just to talk. Ronnie was the oldest son and was always helping them in any way he could. We will never forget your smile or the way you made us laugh. Thank you, Ronnie! Your Mom and Dad and your brothers and sister will carry you in their hearts forever. We will not say goodbye to you because we know we will see you again. His greatest love was his wife, Verna and his two children Michael and Jennifer. As a father he was always involved with their activities and was very proud of them. The values that he taught them through sports will never be forgotten. He loved his children so very much, they brought him great joy. His wife, Verna, who is also active in the Army National Guard, was the light of his life. Their love for each other was obvious by the way they lived their lives. Services will be held on Monday, June 21, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave, NE. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with full military honors. RICHARDSON -- William R. "Bill" Richardson, February 24, 1917 - June 19, 2004. He was born in East Steubenville, West Virginia. Bill was preceded by his parents, Raymond Richardson and Leafy Etta Cash. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty; his children, Michael R. and wife, Susan, David M. and wife, Vivian, Kathleen R. and husband, John Lamar; grandchildren, Paige Mahoney, Michael D. Richardson, Brian and Eric Richardson, and Johnny Lamar; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Caitlin Mahoney, Austin and Brandon Richardson, and Makaela Richardson. As a young man, Bill worked for the CCC's and served in the Army during WWII. He worked as a machinist for Cooper-Bessimer in Grove City, PA. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1955 where he was a machinist for ACF Industries and G.E. He retired in 1980. Bill was a founding parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. He was a member of VFW Post 401 since 1955. He was an officer and active union member for the Local Lodge 794 Machinist Union since 1955. He was an avid bowler, homing pigeon racer, occasional golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed playing cards and dominos with his close friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His last wishes were to "Tell them I love them all." Mass will be celebrated at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. N.E. on Thursday, June 24, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. VIVIANI -- Edna M. Viviani, 77, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, June 20, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Barasch and husband, Guy of Albuquerque; sons, Thomas Viviani and wife, Claire of Los Lunas and Richard Viviani of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, J. Michael Barasch, Sean Viviani, Derek Viviani, Christina Viviani and Joseph Viviani. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Henry J. Viviani and son, Henry J. "Bud" Viviani, Jr. Edna was born in Gallup, NM. She worked as a nurse at St. Frances Gardens. Edna had a gentle grace and dignity about her and a wonderful sense of humor. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and special friend. Services are pending. Interment will follow. Pallbearers will be J. YALCH -- Jerry R. Yalch, "Mexican Joe", a lifelong resident of El Cerro joined our Lord on Saturday, June 19, 2004. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Peralta. He served in the Army National Guard. Jerry enjoyed truck driving, playing pool and dancing. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, John Yalch; his friends, John Sanchez and Bennie Valenzuela. Mr Yalch is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marcella Yalch of the family home; six sons, Marty Yalch and Darlene Roybal, Johnny Yalch and Yvonne Trujillo, Raymond Yalch and his wife, Evelyn, David Yalch and Dorothy Yalch, Jose (JM) Yalch and his wife, Barbara all of Los Lunas, Kenneth Yalch and Claire Chavez of Albquerque; two daughters, Joylene Yalch and Ron Zengerly of Belen, Christine and her husband, Alfred Torres of Los Lunas; his mother, Navora Yalch of Los Lunas; one sister, Mary Ann and her husband, Gilbert Baca of Las Vegas, NM; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren' nine step-grandchildren; five step-great -grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
