HURRY -- Minnie "Mimi" Hurry, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 In Albuquerque. Mimi was a member of the Methodist Faith and attended St. John's Methodist Church, Eastern Star Chapter Desert Rose # 70, La Mesa Court # 3, Order of the Amaranth. She was also the past Grand Guardian of the International Order of Jobs Daughters of New Mexico. Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul Hurry; one son, Harry Hurry; her parents; and one sister, Jessie Lois Brown. Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Hurry and Patricia Thompson; one Step-daughter, Laura Cliff all of Albuquerque; two granddaughters, Brianna and husband, John Bitner of Roswell, NM, Amy Jo and husband, David Wilds of Albuquerque; two great-granddaughters, Bryttini and Rebekah Bitner of Roswell;. Memorial Services will be held Monday, June 21, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE. Burial will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to American Diabetes Association, 525 San Pedro Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 in Mimi's honor.
