She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Rosa Armijo and is survived by her sister, Pat Babcock; Goddaughter, Christina Gutierrez from California; Godson, Mason Yordy; other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Queen of Peace Chapel, 1420 San Pedro NE, between Lomas and Constitution. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2002. Barber -- 1927-2002 Dorothy "Dotty" Canton Barber, age 74, passed away on Thursday January 31, 2002. She was born in Clinton Massachusetts on April 23, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents Edmund J. Canton and Eva Canton Pazdra, her brother Edmund W. Canton, infant twin boys John and Joseph Barber, and son Richard Byron Barber. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Glen B. Barber; her son, Glen E. Barber and his wife, Annette of Albuquerque; Arlene Wightman and her husband John of Leavenworth, Kansas, Mary Ann Baker and her husband Martin of Tijeras, Eva Cerise and her husband Mike of Carbondale, Colorado; twelve grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was a charter member of the Los Alamos Women's Golf Association, member and former president of Tierra del Sol Golf Association, an active member and past president of the Horizon Ladies Association, was an active member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church serving on the Alter Guild, Lay Eucharist Minister, and Lay Reader. She would most like to be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday February 6, at 11:00 AM at St. Philip's Episcopal Church with Father Bob Maxwell officiating. Beall -- Pearl O. Beall, 96, born in Mt. Vernon, TX. November 3, 1905 to Marvin H. Smith and Gladys Peterson Smith, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 at the Belen Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was an active member of the Bosque Farms Baptist Church. Pearl loved to garden and fish. We take this opportunity to express our appreciation for the excellent care given to her at the Bellamah House in Albuquerque and the Belen Care and Rehabilitation Center in Belen. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. "Jack" Beall; and son, James"Jim" Beall. She is survived by her sons, and their wives, Ray and Annadene of Peralta, Bobby and Emily and Larry and Bonnie, both from Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Bobby, Lynn, Lori, Cory, Troy, Leslie, Mathew and Nathan; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles; and five sisters, Ruth, Ellen, Mary, Ina Bea and Alice all who reside in Arizona. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Benson -- Jason Louis Benson, "Lou", age 73, died Thursday January 31, 2002 at UNM Hospital. He spent his last weeks surrounded by his loving family. Lou was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 9, 1928 and was a resident of Albuquerque for over 29 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Eddie; and granddaughter, Nycole. Lou is survived by his wife, Helen; and children, Don Vering, Jackie and husband, Lorenzo Gomez, Jody and husband Ross Aragon, Debbie Vering and husband, Mick Baisden, David Benson, Julie Benson; daughter-in-law, Diana Vering; 15 grandchildren, April, Keith, Veronica, Eddie, Michelle, Tonia, Cassy, Deanna, Scott, Brooke, Dallas, Ashlee, Laurynn, Shanynn; and one great-grandchild, Dominic. He will be deeply missed forever. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Monday February 4, 2:00 p.m., at Aspen Funeral Alternatives Chapel, 1935 Juan Tabo NE.

Blazick -- Mary Patricia Blazick, born March 25, 1915 in Gary Indiana, formerly of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Jan. 31, 2002 in Green Valley, Arizona. Present to help her make the transition were her children, Richard Blazick and wife, Carole of Green Valley, Carole Updegrove and husband, Alan of Oscoda Mi., and Gayle Tiemeyer of Houston, Texas. Missing their dear Nana will be grandchildren, Cassie Jones, Leisha Blazick, Stephen Blazick, Ansel Updegrove Aaron Updegrove and Scott Tiemeyer; along with great-grandchildren, Corey Jones, Aidan, Avery and Ashleigh Updegrove. She will dearly be missed by her sister Josephine Yards and husband, Albin of Albuquerque. Mary was a resident of Albuquerque since 1950. She and her husband, Steven, were both Realtors where they worked side by side in their own Real Estate company. Mary was active in the Albuquerque Board of Realtors and the Women's Council. She was a member of Risen Savior Catholic Church. Mary will be interred Tuesday at the Gate of Heaven Mausoleum where she will join her husband Steven who preceded her in death 22 years ago. The family requests no flowers and any contributions be used to do something joyful in Mary's memory with your loved ones.

Brandt -- Mary Farmer Brandt, 94, a long time resident of Moriarty, NM, was called home to be with our Lord February 1, 2002. Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, W. A. (Bill) Farmer, and Al Brandt, and two daughters, Betty Farmer and Nella Hensley. She is survived by her devoted son, Alvin Farmer and his wife, Donna, and her loving daughter, Esther Helweg, both of Albuquerque. Other survivors include Robert Hensley of Moriarty, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was born to Nis and Elena (Tastesen) Bau, August 23, 1907 in Minnesota. She grew up in the Dakotas. She married Bill Farmer in 1927, and they moved to New Mexico and settled in the Barton/Edgewood area. She was a grand lady who will be greatly missed by all. She was a woman of great strength and character, and she loved her family and friends deeply. She had a wonderful, jovial sense of humor, and loved to laugh. Her grandchildren remember wonderful times with her at the farm where she patiently taught them to make her famous bread. Her life is truly a legacy of love for her family, and a joy to everyone who knew her. She touched many hearts and will always be remembered as a true gift in our lives. She was our happy little hummingbird, we will miss you "sweetie pie." Visitation will be Sunday February 3, 2002 at the Harris-Hanlon Chapel, Moriarty, NM. 2:00-4:00 PM. Mary's life will be honored Monday, February 4, 2002 at the Church of Christ, 211 Irene Ave., Moriarty, NM. 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Mountain Valley Cemetery. Honored pallbearers are her grandsons and great grandsons: Bill Hensley, Kenneth Farmer, Mark Baisdon, Ryan Coleman, Jonathan Anderson, and Peter Ford. Honorary pallbearers are Joel Zuercher, Ross Zuercher, Nick Degenhart, and Bryce Patterson. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to their charity of choice. Brown -- Mr. George Bierner Brown, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on January 31, 2002. Mr. Brown is survived by his stepmother, Mary Brown; two daughters, Mary Jane Brown Duran and husband, Dan, Pamela Brown Coates and husband, Frank; seven sisters, Esther Torrez( John), Stella Tafoya and husband, Cruz, Alice McBride and husband, Jim, Kathy Wiggins(Wille), Lee Cassidy(Jim), Lydia Blevins and husband, Bob, Jean Glidewell and husband, Duane; four brothers, Tom Brown and wife, Olaya, Freddie Brown, Robert Brown and wife, Amy, Phillip Brown and wife, Frances; four grandchildren, Daniel Scott Duran, Stephanie Padilla and husband, Rumaldo, Frankie Coates and George Coates; three great grandchildren, Rumaldo Padilla IV, Michael Padilla, Emmalee Jade Padilla; his beloved Chihuahua, Weezy; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife Emma, his daughter, Sandra Gail, his parents AC and Vivianita Brown; his sister Elsie Brown Chavez and his brother, Abbie Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a Veteran of the US Army serving during WW II. He participated in the"D" Day invasion of Normandy, survived the assault on Omaha Beach, and was wounded on August 13, 1944, by machinegun fire while still serving in France. He was medically evacuated across the English Channel where he spent 10 months in an Army Hospital. His metals include the Purple Heart, Bronze Battlestar, Combat Infantry Badge and the French Jubilee Medal of Liberty. George wore many hats during his lifetime, he was a ranchhand, miner, soldier, surveryor, cabinetmaker, and he retired from the U.S. Corps of Engineers in Albuquerque. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 1:00pm until 3:00pm in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW. Final visitation will be Monday morning from 8:30am until 9:00am at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:00. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30am with full military honors by the DAV chapter 3. Pallbearers will be Tom Brown, Freddie Brown, Robert Brown, Phillip Brown, Scott Duran and Frankie Coates. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Coates, Cruz Tafoya, Bob Blevins, Jim McBride, Duane Glidewell and Charlie Bierner. Gabaldon Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

Buckner -- Raymond Claibourne Buckner, 89, died Tuesday afternoon, January 29, 2002 at his home in Rio Rancho. He was born in Hope, New Mexico the same year New Mexico became a state. He was the son of William and Lila Mae Westlake Buckner. He had two brothers Aleck and John and two sisters, Olive and Dorothy. Raymond's father worked as a business manager in Alamogordo, Tularosa, El Paso and Cloudcroft. In 1927 Raymond's father purchased the"Old Buckner Homestead" above Weed on the Aqua Chiquita. All the family pitched in to help and Raymond being a crack shot, was the hunter for the family. He kept the dinner table supplied with squirrel, rabbit, turkey and venison. Raymond left home at 17 and worked jobs in Hope and Alamogordo attending school part time until he earned his high school diploma. Raymond managed a general merchandise store in Hope, worked the oil fields in Hobbs, and ran a dry cleaning route from Roswell to Carrizozo. In 1937 he bought the Mountain Park store in High Rolls, NM, converted it to a self-serve and added a gas station and icehouse. He electrified the store and generated his own electricity with a small power plant. He kept his pet mountain lion Squeaky in a pen out front. In 1941, he met a young schoolteacher from Carlsbad named Ruby when she stopped in his store. In January 1942 he enlisted in the US Navy and served as a gunners mate on a PC 105 submarine chaser escorting convoys to Guantanamo Bay, Pearl Harbor, and the Marshall Islands. During a brief leave on February 17, 1943 Raymond and Ruby were married in Silver Springs, Maryland. During the latter part of WW II, he was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Commencement Bay and was made Chief Gunners Mate. After his discharge, he moved to Ruidoso with Ruby and their young son Mike and became an electrical contractor and active citizen of the developing town. He served on the town council and eventually became the mayor of Ruidoso. He helped organize the first Ruidoso Chamber of Commerce and became the first depositor and director of the Ruidoso State Bank. He and Ruby developed their Buckner Electric business into a gift, hardware and appliance store and invested in land and homes in the area. They sold their store in 1960 and worked on various investment properties and homes. They build and/or remodeled 25 houses in Ruidoso and Tularosa. In 1966 they purchased an adobe house in Tularosa for a winter home and eventually made it their permanent home in 1977. They also maintained a cabin in Cloudcroft for summer living. Raymond and Ruby were active members of the Sacramento Mountains Historical Society, The Native Plants Society, and the La Luz Gallery. They were both accomplished artists and Raymond was famous for his little wooden crosses made from desert woods. In 2000 Raymond and Ruby had a new home constructed in Rio Rancho adjoining their son Mike and his wife Judy's home. Raymond enjoyed working at finishing the courtyards, driveways and studio garages of the new home. He enjoyed observing the mountains, birds and rabbits and watching the new construction in the neighborhood. He was a frequent visitor of the Corrales Library and read several books a week. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Ruby, November 6, 2001; a son, Jeffery Lee who died in 1949; his brother, Aleck; and sisters, Olive and Dorothy. He is survived by his son Michael and wife Judy Lou of the family home; grandson, Ryan and wife Jennifer of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Linda Kennedy of Farmington; brother, John of La Luz; brother-in-law, Lester Sharp of Ruidoso; sister-in-law, Jessie Lou Beason of Albuquerque; and her children, Lester, Sandra, Beverly and Kay. Raymond's remains were cremated and a memorial service was held at the family home. His and Ruby's ashes are combined and will be scattered. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho, 892-9920.

Burcio -- Irene Calder¢n Burcio, 74, resident of Antioch, California, passed away in her home on January 20, following a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Julian"Notchie" Burcio; her daughter, Rebecca Leathers; son, Jim, and his wife, Donna; and her grandchildren, Jennifer and Lindsey Burcio. She is also survived by her sister, Angelina Calder¢n Torres, a longtime resident of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her parents, Basilio and Josefa Calder¢n; and her five brothers, Tony, Manuel, Pete, Nick and Bobby. The Calder¢n family originally moved to Albuquerque from Morley, Colorado, in 1932.

Daniels -- Jack Edward Daniels, 45, died on Monday, January 28, 2002 after a sudden illness while enroute to Albuquerque following his mother's Funeral Service. Jack was born on March 30, 1956 in Houston, TX. He was the son of Carl Edward Daniels, Jr. and Dolores Ann Loveland. Jack was reared and received his education in Houston and graduated in 1974 from the Memorial High School. He continued his education and was a student at the University of Alabama and then the University of Texas. Jack made is home in Albuquerque since 1981 and was a member of the Hoffmantown Church. He is survived by his father, Carl E. Daniels, Jr., of Albuquerque; sister, Jill A. Crawford and husband, Richard of Lake Murray, FL; nephew, Daniel Crawford; and niece, Rachel Crawford, both of Lake Murray, FL; maternal grandmother, Eythel Williams Loveland; paternal grandmother, Helen Hamerla Daniels; and uncle, Gene Loveland, all of Bartlesville, OK. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Gene Daniels, June 20, 1998 and his mother, Dolores A. Daniels, January 17, 2002. Private family interment will take place in Bartlesville, OK.

Davis -- Gloria Ann Davis, a resident of Albuquerque, died on February 1, 2002. She was a Christian, a mother, a sister and a friend. She graduated nurse's school as an L.P.N. and worked for Indian Health Service as a mental heath technician for 26 years. She retired in January 1996. She was an avid member and volunteer of her church. Gloria lived in Nazlini, Arizona and also in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a member of the Navajo Tribe; her mother's clan was Towering House, her father's clan was Nakai Dine. Gloria is survived by her three daughters, Carmen Davis-Reynoso and husband, Jose, of Albuquerque, Andrea Babby and husband, Gordon, of Sacramento, CA and Yvonne M. Davis and husband, Michael Thompson, of Albuquerque; 7 grandchildren, Tonia, Karen, Sandra, Alana, Alex, Mikal, and Gabriel, all of Albuquerque; 4 great - grandchildren, Sean, Dru, Jerry Jr. and Davina, all of Albuquerque. She also has 3 sisters, Marjorie Charley, Alberta Yazzie and Priscilla Begay; brother, Jerry Tisi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Davis, and parents, Yazzie Roberts and Harrison Begay. She selflessly helped others regardless if they were in need or not. She was a person whom you could consult and confide in. Gloria was the ultimate role model as a mother. Dunivan -- Fern M. Dunivan, a gracious lady, passed away on January 27, 2002, after a long struggle with Parkinson's. Fern was born in El Paso, TX in May 12, 1923 and later on, moved to the Hatch Valley, where she raised three daughters. Fern moved to Albuquerque in 1972 and continued her work in bookkeeping and office management. Fern was a friend to young and old, who knew that they could always"hang out" at her house. She always had a smile and good thought for friends, family, and business associates. Fern is survived by her daughters, Brenda Dunivan of Albuquerque, Marilyn Lindell and her husband, Bill of Albueruque, and Rosemond Mundy of Ruidoso; grandsons Print Mundy of Ruidoso, Cache Mundy and his wife Teresa Gulock; great granddaughter Aria Trew Mundy of Boulder, CO. Gaylord -- Lynne Christine Downey Gaylord, an Albuquerque resident since 1973, Died January 29, 2002. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Gary; her four children, whom she loved deeply, Michele Torres, Pam Williams, Wendy Manary and Ed Gaylord; two loving sisters, Sharon LaPolice and Maureen Young; five grandchildren, Brandon Manary, Jonathon Manary, Marcos Torres, Mitchell Torres, and Carmen Williams; and three sons-in-law, Mark Manary, Mark Torres, and Leevi Williams. Prior to becoming disabled, she was a Registered Nurse who specialized in pediatric care, and she was also a talented artist. After becoming disabled she spent her time devoted to her grandchildren. She was greatly loved by all who knew her and will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 4, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Luteran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. Gray -- James L. Gray, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died Thursday, January 31, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy J. Gray; sons, James Terry Gray of El Paso, TX and Patrick David Gray and wife, Kathleen, of Albuquerque; 7 grandchildren, Amanda, Miles, Jessica, David, James, William and Yvonne; 4 great grandchildren and a cousin, Ethel Neal of Roswell, NM. Mr. Gray was preceded in death by one son, Benny Bob Gray in 1977. He was born in Hot Springs, NM in 1925 and was a Veteran of WWII and Korea serving in the Army Air Corps and Army. Mr. Gray was employed by Albuquerque Orthopedic Associates for over 30 years and he was a Charter Member of St. Paul's Methodist Church. Jim was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed spending time with his wife and sons. He will be missed by his family and all those who called him friend, including his neighbors for over 40 years. Memorial services will be held, Monday, February 4, 2001, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE with Chaplain Jim Birkhead officiating. Henderson -- Ruth Marie Henderson was born October 23, 1920 in Nebraska. She passed away February 1, 2002 in Albuquerque, and was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Hollister -- Ernest B. "Bud" Hollister passed away January 30, 2002 at the age of 82. He and his wife of 52 years, Arline, relocated to Albuquerque from Fremont, MI on January 6, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Arline; son, Todd Hollister of Albuquerque and Paul Hollister of Green Bay, WI; daughter, Pamela Carpenter and her husband, Scott of Holland, MI; grandchildren, Sgt. Matthew Hollister and his wife, Elizabeth of Ft. Lewis, WA and Emily Carpenter of Holland, MI. Mr. Hollister was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 4, 1919. He graduated from Garden City High School in Long Island, NY and served in the Army during WWII in Germany. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, in 1947. He was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He worked for 37 years as a project manager for Turner Construction Co. in Manhattan, NY retiring in 1985. He and Mrs. Hollister relocated from Locust Valley, Long Island to Fremont, MI before moving to Albuquerque. Bud was a lifelong lover of music and the arts, and especially enjoyed choral singing. He was active in church and his community choirs most of his life. He was very involved in the churches he attended and was a devout Christian and lifelong Episcopalian. The family is particularly grateful for his example of faith and love for all people. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, Sullivan Ave., Fremont, MI 49412. Kiernan -- William Henry Kiernan, 85, a resident of New Mexico since 1968 and of Rio Rancho since 1972, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2002. William was born February 2, 1916 the son of William H. and Elizabeth Kraft Kiernan in New York City, New York. William was a WW II combat Veteran retiring as Lt. Colonel of the US Army. After leaving the service, he joined the New York City Police Department, retiring as a Lieutenant after 22 years. He was a member of the Retired Law Enforcement Officers Association.He served on the New Mexico Governor's Council on Law Enforcement Assistance Administration, and also was a Court Clerk for Bernalillo District Court. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. William was preceded in death by his wife, Maude Kay Kiernan in September of 1997. He is survived by three sons, William Hugh Kiernan of Yucaipa, CA, Wayne Kiernan of Port Washington, NY, and Kerry Kiernan of Albuquerque, NM; one brother, Thomas Kiernan of Marlton, NJ; and six grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 4, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio RAncho, with Fr. Ronald Stone as the Celebrant. Mclean -- Patricia Emily (Patty) McLean was born in San Diego, CA on March 3, 1946. She graduated from the George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia with a BA in English Literature. She was raised in Falls Church Virginia where she attended St. James Catholic Elementary school and The Bishop Dennis J. O'Connell High School in Arlington, Va. She worked for the Department of Interior (National Park Service) and the Bureau of Land Management(BLM) from 1966 through 1996 when she retired as the Associate District Manager of the Albuquerque, NM BLM office. She had previously been the Area Manager for BLM in Ridgecrest, CA. After retiring from the government she continued working as a tax consultant for H&R Block, and enjoyed cultivating her rose garden. She died on January 31 2002 . Patty's life was characterized by leadership and battles. She overcame open heart surgery at age 14 that cured the problems dominating her childhood. She was a leader of student Government at George Mason. As a manager in the Federal Government, she fought for the rights of female employees to have equal footing with their male counterparts, and was equally dedicated to conservation and environmental preservation. She did not let the battles color her outlook, rather she worked to better the conditions for those who were affected. She was a loyal and caring friend, with an open and giving personality that always saw the good side in people and events. She is survived by her mother, Mary Kay McLean of Albuquerque, her brother Bert A. McLean of Laytonsville, MD, and her sister Gloria Helen McLean-Hiratsuka of New York City, NY. Stewart -- Roy P. Stewart, 62, passed away Monday, January 28, 2002 in Albuquerque, NM after a short bout with mantle cell cancer. Roy was born August 14, 1939 in Dallas, TX to the late Raymond Stewart and Zoe Stewart Ziemann. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Irene, of the family home; three children, Karen Edwards and husband, Gary; Suzanne Malone, all of Albuquerque, and Michael Spears of Naples, FL; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his special poodle and friend, Sherry; cousins, Carolyn Sanders and husband, Bobby, Robert Shockley and wife, Celia of TX and many very special and good friends throughout the country. Mr. Stewart served his country faithfully as a member of the U. S. Navy (1957-60) and the U. S. Army (1962-80) serving in Vietnam and Korea. Roy ended his 22 year military career at Kirtland AFB as a member of BIG CROW. Roy honorably retired from the Army in 1980. His military decorations include the Bronze Star, the Vietnam Service Medal and other military decorations. Over the last 25 years he was highly involved in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Military Order of the Cooties and was a member of the DAV and American Legion Post 49. He served as Post Commander of VFW 401, Supreme Councilman of District II MOC, Grand of New Mexico MOC Commander and Seam Squirrel of Pup Tent #7 of the MOC. Mr. Stewart also retired from the NM State Physical Science Laboratory in 1993. He was most recently employed with Transcore. It was Mr. Stewart's wish to be cremated and no formal services to take place at this time. Instead, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date when the tears stop flowing. He will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to do so, the family requests a memorial contribution be made to Pup Tent #7, for donation to the VFW National Home for Children, of which he was a life member. We are sure Roy is already entertaining the angels with his endless supply of jokes as he did here on earth. Roy had a big heart and did many good deeds for many people. He was a volunteer at the VA Hospital with over 770 hours spent bringing joy to the patients. Watson -- Stella Watson, our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt joined the Lord on January 30, 2002 at the age of 91 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Her husband, Sam Watson preceded her in death after 59 years of marriage. Her son, Ernie, his wife Sally, and her three grandchildren Rachelle, Alan and Sarah of Albuquerque survive her. Born on October 1, 1910, the oldest of nine children to Savas and Virginia Lujan in Hoehne, Colorado. She outlived her eight siblings Solomon Lujan, Manuel Lujan, Avade Lujan, Alex Lujan, Helen Mestas, Tony Lujan, Fred Lujan, and Edward Lujan. Her legacy will be the sprit of love and kindness she passed on to her family and those she met during her long life. Her love for her family and friends was only surpassed with the love she had for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will deeply missed but her sprit will live on with those that will remember her as a loving, kind, and gentle person willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Weatherford -- Jewell Lee Weatherford, 101, a resident of New Mexico since 1957, died Friday, February 1, 2002. She is survived by her sons, James A. Stark and wife Mary Lu , and Dr. John E. She moved to Albuquerque in 1957 where she taught school at Queen of Heaven Catholic School and Faith Lutheran Kindergarten, which she originally started.
