Tudor -- Billy Tudor--Dear Son and Brother who passed away ten years ago, (March 13, 1990). Ten years ago Billy your golden heart stopped beating, God took you home to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best!! March 6th was your birthday. It was such a sad and agonizing day, all we could do was visit your crypt, attend Mass, and bring you flowers, with broken hearts we prayed for hours. The Lord blessed us with someone special when He lent us you, the Lord entrusted us with his greatest treasure. You brought all of us so much happiness and joy, indeed beyond any measure. I was the honored one when the Lord put you in my arms and made you my son! I'll lend you for a little time, a child of mine, he said for you to love the while he lives, and mourn for when he's dead. It may be six or seven years or forty two or three, but will you 'til I call him back, take care of him for me? He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and shall his stay be brief, you'll have his lovely memories as a solace for your grief. I cannot promise he will stay, since all from earth return, but there are lessons taught down there, I want this child to learn. I've looked the wide world over, in search for mothers true, and from the crowd that crowds life's lane, I have selected you. (How proud and happy I was that God selected me to be your mother and you, my loving son, even though you are gone, your precious memory lives on.) Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain, nor hate me when I come to call to take him home again? I fancied that I heard them say"Dear Lord thy will be done." For all the joy thy child will bring, the rise of grief we'll run. We'll shelter him with tenderness we'll love him while we may, and for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay. But shall the angels call for him, much sooner then we've planned, we'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand!! When God created you, dearest Billy, it sent a great joy through heaven that made the choirs sing. And oh what celestial music to honor your return to our god, our Savior, our King. So parents love your children while you may, for I'd give anything if my son could be alive and with us here today!! When you passed beyond our present sight and left us and the world we know without your radiant light, we all knew that like a candle your brilliant light will forever shine, to brighten up another place more perfect and more divine. In the realm of heaven where you shine so warm and bright, you will live forever in God's eternal light! Softly the leaves of memory fall, gently we gather and treasure them all. Unseen, unheard you are always near, still loved, still missed, and oh so dear! Our memories are forever etched into our heart, we feel your presence daily and we will never truly be apart. It broke our hearts to lose you, Dear son and brother, but you did not go alone, a part of all of us went with you the day God called you home. Billy, no matter what life without you brings, one thing for certain, you have always been the wind beneath my wings!! Our memories of you remain as treasures so real, for your death Billy is a heartache even time won't ever heal!! Sadly missed by your loving mother, Rose Ann and brother, Robert.Billy, thank you for being so special!! Billy you just knew, right from the start, how to bring joy to our heart, you just knew how to love and to give, and you did such nice things, every day that you were allowed to live. You were always a blessing, wherever you went, such a sweet way of life, for indeed you were very special and you were heaven sent!!
