Obituary for Grogan

George M. Grogan, 70, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away March 9, 2000. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving with the 38th Infantry (Indianhead Division) during the Korean War. He was awarded four Purple Hearts, a POW Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United National Service Medal, and two Combat Infantry Badges. George was also a member of the D.A.V. He was a beloved husband and father, and will dearly be missed. He is survived by his wife, Nanabah G. Grogan of Albuquerque; daughter, Navida Grogan of Albuquerque; son, Michael R. Grogan and wife, Nadine of Chicago, IL; and grandsons, Dakota C'de Baca-Grogan, Aviz Golan and Nadaz Golan. Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 14, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM, with Military Honors. Hillcrest Funeral Home 225 San Mateo NE 265-5959
