Bonteaux -- Joyce Audine Bonteaux passed away after a brief illness on December 31, 1998. She is survived by her mother, Genevieve Bonto; loving partner, Matalie Wham; daughters, Julie Beadle and husband, Rod, Amy Beegle and fiance, Mike Hawrylyez; son, Mark Beegle and fiancee, Mary Nolasco; former husband, Richard Beegle. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. G. Virgil Bonto. Born September 26, 1943 in Aurora, IL, she went to school in Kansas and Nebraska before moving to Albuquerque in 1965. She received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from UNM and was the Center Director of YDI Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Child Development Center. She was a charter member and elder of the New Life Presbyterian Church and an active member of other community organizations. Above all, she cherished her family and many friends. She was a woman of spirit, purpose, compassion, wisdom and expressed her love of life and passion for people through music, laughter, tears and hugs. She was a genius in her ability to listen and envelope others in her quiet assurance. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in her memory to the New Life Presbyterian Church, All Faiths Family Counseling Services, NM Advocates for Children, Youth and Families, Rape Crisis Center, or the NM Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Memorial services will be held January 6, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at the New Life Presbyterian Church, 5540 Eubank Blvd. NE, Albuquerque. Cremation arrangements were made by the Sunrise Society of NM, 891-8200.

Carrillo -- Mr. Nick Carrillo, age 76, died Sunday. He is survived by his wife, Louisa Carrillo; sons, Nick Carrillo, Jr., Jimmy Carrillo, Johnny Carrillo, Louie Carrillo, Ray Carrillo and Joseph Carrillo; sisters, Frances Carrillo, Mary Ann Tenney, Gloria Carrillo and Jeanette Carrillo; two brothers; eight sisters; grandchildren, Adrian, Suzi, Gilbert, Beverlie, Valerie, Rico, Kim, Anthony, Rose Bud, Lawrence and Erik; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the San Felipe Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adrian Carrillo, Gilbert Serna, Rico Montoya, Anthony Aragon, Louie Ulibarri and Adan Carriaga. Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Carrillo and Felix Carriaga. Davie -- Kenneth L. Davie, a resident of Albuquerque for 4 1/2 years, died Saturday, January 2, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Nellie of the family home; son, Neil Davie and wife, Susan of Cedar Crest; and grandchildren, Angela, Adam and Melissa Davie of Cedar Crest. Mr. Davie was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He served in the U.S. Navy and Merchant Marines and was a World War II veteran. Mr. Davie was a mechanical engineer with the Rock Island Illinois Arsenal, retiring in 1980. After his retirement, he pursued watercolor painting and his work was exhibited in numerous shows and galleries. Mr. Davie was a member of the Albuquerque Watercolor Society, Friends of Art, and the Left Bank Art League in Rock Island, IL. In 1994, Kenneth and Nellie Davie moved to Albuquerque from Rock Island, Illinois and are members of St. John's Methodist Church. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 1999, 12:00 noon, at French Mortuary - Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE with Rev. Charles Price and Rev. Robert E. Stone officiating. Lambert -- Daniel K. Lambert, 31, born May 31, 1967 in Albuquerque, died suddenly Tuesday December 29, 1998 in a truck rollover, but in reality it was alcoholism that took him at such an early age. He is survived by his loving family, mother, Barbara Cloud, husband, Ernie; father, Robert Lambert; sister, Kathryn Rolston, husband, Bob; and Dan's niece, Desiree Rolston; and nephew, Brian Rolston, grandfather, Boyce Clark; uncle, Jerry Clark, wife, Mickey and family; cousin, Paul Clark; as well as Dan's devoted dog, Sheila. Dan was a 1985 graduate of El Dorado High School. He was a licensed plumber for ten years. He also was an avid outdoorsman and nature lover. He liked hunting, camping, fishing and hiking. Dan was a loved son and brother and loved his family in return. He had a beautiful Christmas with his entire family this year. Maldonado -- Mrs. Theresa M. Maldonado, 45, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 2, 1999. Mrs. Maldonado was the beloved wife of 26 years to Atanacio Maldonado, Jr.; two daughters, Angelica and Cindy; two sons, Miguel and Emilio; four sisters, Emily, Marcy, Gloria, and Bernice; four brothers, Fermin, Jr., Florencio, Premetivo and Edwin; two grandchildren, Patrick and Isiah; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Theresa was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW. Mcglothlin -- Roy"Mae" A. McGlothlin, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Saturday, January 2, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Wanda McGlothlin of Los Lunas; daughter, Deborah S. Tracy and husband, Alan of Denver, CO; sons, Earl J. McGlothlin and wife, Sheila of Albuquerque, Jon C. McGlothlin of Grand Junction, CO and Ian M. McGlothlin of Los Lunas; sisters, Jewel B. Martin of Portales and Allie Jo Stevens and husband, Jerry of Eagle Nest; and 12 grandchildren. Mr. McGlothlin was a member of Rio Grande Baptist Church. Ruiz -- Eufelia Gonzales Ruiz passed away at the age of 80 on December 31, 1998. She was born in Primer Agua, New Mexico in 1918. She was preceded in death by her parents, Damacio Gonzales and Salome Rael; her brothers, Fermin, Servando, Andalecio, Joaquin, Henry, George, Evaristo, and Mariano. She is survived by her sons, Richard Gonzales, Lawrence Ruiz and Maurilio Ruiz and wife, Theresa; brother, Steve Gonzales and wife, Beulah; sisters-in-law, Amalia Gonzales of San Jose, CA and Sinforosa Gonzales of Tijeras, NM; grandchildren, Bernadette Ruiz-Pacheco and Carlos Ruiz; great-grandchildren, Edmond, Alea and Justin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, as well as many cousins. Eufelia will be missed by all who loved her. Eufelia was loved by all of her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Eileen Ayala, Marie Trujillo and Fred Gonzales for their help and support. Salazar -- Celia R. Salazar, 86, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Sunday, January 3, 1999. She is survived by her children, Frank Salazar and wife, Reyna, Mary Alice Salazar, Joseph R. Salazar, David C. Salazar, and Marie, all of Albuquerque, and Gerald P. Salazar and wife, Ernestine of Lewisville, TX; 15 grandchildren including Gina McKay; a granddaughter whom she raised; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sister, Eufemia Romero of Los Alamos; and many, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Salazar was an active member and deacon at Second Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Allison-James High School in Santa Fe. Mrs. Salazar was a long time hairdresser/beautician here in the city. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd., NE with Rev. Sedillo -- Clara C. Sedillo Born: Dec. 31, 1934 Departed: Dec. 29, 1998After Thank You, From her loving son. Although, my mother was not in the military, she gave her only son to the service of our nation. When I was 17 years old my mother signed parental consent so that I could join the United States Navy. As President John F. Kennedy once said,"What is the Greatest gift one can give to their country, than to be able to say, I served in the United States Navy." My Mom supported me all the way and she was very proud. "My greatest joy was to see my Mom happy and for her to be proud of me; we had our differences, but in the end we always came through for each other." She was a fighter to the very end. For Thanksgiving she traveled more than 1,800 miles and visited everyone. I had her up at 5:30 a.m. and we wouldn't get back to the Hotel till 10:00 a.m. or 11:00 p.m. She wouldn't stop until we got to see everyone. She even made it to Ship's Christmas party on December 17, 1998. Then on December 22, 1998 she entered the hospital for the last time. When the doctor told her on Christmas day that she would be going home the next day, she couldn't wait. I'd push her to the limit, but she never quit. On Sunday, December 27, 1998 I was planning a very special birthday party for my Mom, However, it was not meant to be. Because after standing duty on December 28, 1998 and I got relieved the next morning on December 29, 1998; I came home to find my Mom had left this world. I tried to revive her and called 911."THIS CAN'T BE!" I said to myself, but it was. This was suppose to be a special Birthday party and she only needed 48 hours to see her 64th Birthday. So Mom....HAPPY BIRTHDAY. And here is your Birthday card Mom, that you never did open; and so I will read it out to you and give it to you now Mom. She's resting now. As scriptures said, Honor Thy Mother and Father. When was the last time you hugged your parents and said I Love You? Today would be a great day to make amends. Last, she loved her new home in San Diego, and the doors were always open. She was happy to have visitors there. I want to thank each and everyone of you who are here and those that could not be here from the bottom of my heart for your support, thoughts and prayers during this time. All family and friends are welcome to come to 5624 Isleta Blvd. SW, Tuesday, January 5, 1999 until 6:0 p.m. for refreshments. This is a celebration of my Mom's life and that is the way my Mom would have wanted it to be. SHE WAS TIRED AND NOW SHE HAS GONE HOME. Sena -- Martin T. Sena, age 95, born November 11, 1903, passed away January 3, 1999. Martin was one of five children born to Juan Sena and Trinidad Sierra Sena. Starting at the age of 13, he worked as a cowboy on ranches in Guadeloupe and San Miguel Counties and most of his life was spent as a rancher raising cattle and Quarter horses north of Cuervo. During the drought in the mid 1950's he worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad. In the mid 1960's he opened and ran a gasoline service station in Cuervo and continued to operate it until 1988. He has been residing in Albuquerque since 1988 and was at Camino Vista Nursing Home for the past 1 1/2 years. He was preceded in death by his sister and three brothers, his son-in-law, Johnny Lewis, and his grandson, Martin Lewis. He is survived by the mother of his daughters, Cecelia Sena; his daughters, Marta Lewis of Cuervo and Pat Bonham and husband, A.J. of Albuquerque; grandson, Jonell Lewis of Cuervo; brother, Horace Maes of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Ramona Sena of San Antonio, TX along with many friends and other relatives. He is also survived by Jimmy Lucero who was a very special cousin to Martin. His life was made more complete because of the help and friendship he received from his"Primo", Benito Sena of Albuquerque. He was a member of the New Mexico Cattle Growers Association, American Quarter horse Association and was active in the Republican Party of New Mexico. Martin loved horses and cattle and enjoyed seeing a good horse in action and it was common to see him at rodeos and ropings throughout the area. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 1999 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 5, 1999 in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Stacher -- Herbert C. Stacher, 97, a former resident of McKinley County from 1910-1922, and Gallup, NM from 1922-1989 when he became a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 1999, following complications from pneumonia at Manor Care Health Services, where he received care since February, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Elva L. Stacher of Albuquerque; daughters, Mrs. Carol Hail of Mountainair, NM, and Mrs. Vilma Ohlen and husband, Henry of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Mrs. Marlene Boyle and husband, Mike of Denver, CO, and Rev. Charles B. Hail and wife, Nancy of Capitan, NM; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Melanie and Anna Hail. Syler -- Grant P. Syler, 41, a resident of Albuquerque died Wednesday, December 30, 1998. He is survived by his parents, Ron and Nelmah Syler of Albuquerque; grandparents, Pat and Bessie Syler of Flagstaff, AZ; sister, Ginger Syler and husband, Kasey Hellmodt of Belen, NM; nephew, David Syler and fiance, Denise Correa and her children, Leah, Tony, Ciara and Chelsea; and her grandchildren, Mina and Dreama; and many other family and friends. Grant graduated from Eldorado High School in 1975 where he played in the Eldorado Jazz Band. He was a part of the Sandia Peak Ski Racing Team. He was also a member of Central United Methodist Church. Tomlinson -- Peggy K. Tomlinson passed away in Tucson, AZ on December 31, 1998. Born February 22, 1920 in Lovelock, NV. Resident of Tucson since November 1997. Preceded in death by husband, O. Clay Tomlinson. Survived by children, Thomas Emery of Albuquerque, Patricia Ann Towsley of Visalia, CA, Michael of Las Alamos, NM, and Joseph Clay of Tucson, AZ; raised as son-nephew, Gary Hubbard; sister, Pat Renault of Washington, DC; along with 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Weaver -- Wayne Francis Weaver, born December 13, 1927 in Larned, KS, died December 30, 1998 in Albuquerque of cancer. After growing up in Kansas, he served with the rank of Corporal in the United States Army, Quarter Master Corps from 1950 to 1953 and was posted in Goeppingen, Germany. He was a life member of VFW Post 6492 in Seibert, CO. He raised his family in the Trinidad, CO area and taught many years at Trinidad State Junior College. Most recently he managed a small business in Albuquerque and retired this October to Seibert, CO. He is survived by Mary Weaver; and their children, Sam and April Weaver, Jon Weaver, Laurie and Randy Hancock, Jason and Jeneane Weaver, Aron Weaver; and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Velma and Al Getty, Don and Verda Weaver, Tom Weaver, Margaret and Ken Potter, Dallas Weaver; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, William B. and Mathilda Weaver; his brother, LaVerne Weaver; his sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Larry Leoffler; an infant sister; and a son, Lucas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 1999 at the Community Church in Seibert, CO. Weddell -- Consuelo Kohler Weddell, 78, beloved wife and mother, passed away on December 31, 1998. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, George; their four children and five grandchildren. Her son, Peter Weddell, his wife, Michelle; and grandson, Scott of San Jacinto, CA; grandson, Chandler Weddell and his wife, Heather of Kent, WA. Her other son, Douglas Weddell; and grandson, Jeff of Livermore, CA. Jeff and his sister, Jana Farrullo are currently attending school in San Diego, CA. A daughter, Christine Mullins and husband, Darrell of Portales, NM. A daughter, Suzanne Smith, husband Steve; granddaughters Nicole and Jacqueline of Rio Rancho, NM. She is survived by sister, Ruthye Miller of Viequez, Puerto Rico; and sister-in-law, Mary Meehan of Banning, CA. Consuelo was a registered nurse in the Armed Forces and later, following her husband's retirement, worked for the University of NM Hospital for 12 years. She accompanied her husband at military installations throughout the U.S. including Hawaii, as well as tours of duty in Bangkok, Thailand. After retirement she pursued her hobbies of gardening, golf and travel. Consuelo was an accomplished artist. She was a member of the Art Amigos and The New Mexico Watercolor Society. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 1999 at the St. Francis Episcopal Church, 2903 19th SE, Rio Rancho, NM. The church is located on the corner of 19th Street and Golf Course Road in Rio Rancho. The Revered Walter P. Smith III will officiate.
