Katherine Marie Minster, 85, passed away Sunday, January 3, 1999 at her home in Socorro, NM. She was born December 23, 1913 in Kansas, Illinois to Frank and Bertha Melton Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Minster in August 1998; sisters, Louella Adams, Thurza Wolters and Ella Mae Remkus. She is survived by her sister, Virginia"Betty" Rees of Socorro, NM; nieces, Carol McCaslin, Nancy Smith, Connie Sutton, Sharon McCormick and Norma Hoffman; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 7, 1999, 2:30 p.m., at Stedman-Hall Funeral Home with Rev. Cullen Woods and The Rev. Jack Russell officiating. Inurnment will be in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Good Samaritan Village, 1203 US Hwy 60, Socorro, NM 87801. Cremation arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, Socorro, NM.
