Salazar -- Celia R. Salazar, 86, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died Sunday, January 3, 1999. She is survived by her children, Frank Salazar and wife, Reyna, Mary Alice Salazar, Joseph R. Salazar, David C. Salazar, and Marie, all of Albuquerque, and Gerald P. Salazar and wife, Ernestine of Lewisville, TX; 15 grandchildren including Gina McKay; a granddaughter whom she raised; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sister, Eufemia Romero of Los Alamos; and many, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Salazar was an active member and deacon at Second Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Allison-James High School in Santa Fe. Mrs. Salazar was a long time hairdresser/beautician here in the city. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd., NE with Rev. Anthony Chavez Officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd, NE. Pallbearers will be Daniel F. Salazar, Joey Salazar, Randy Salazar, Keith Salazar, Troy Haley and Gary Blea. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Charles Salazar, Mark S. Salazar, Pat Candelaria, Mark Haley, Tino Arreilano, Rudy Romero, Bobby Romero. and Dustin Salazar. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd., NE.
