JARAMILLO -- Leonard Jaramillo, On Monday, December 22, 2008, the Lord embraced Leonard Jaramillo and took him home to rest peacefully. Leonard Jaramillo was born on September 13, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jose Maria and Josephine Jaramillo; and sisters Emma Jaramillo, Gloria Jaramillo, and Mary Ann Vigil. Lenny was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will forever live in the hearts and memories of those whose lives he touched as a strong, caring, and considerate man. Those who will miss him most survive him: wife and love of his life, Linda Jaramillo; two sons, Eric Jaramillo and wife Amy, and Tommy Jaramillo; and grandson Jaymz, the light and rascal of his eye, a boy truly after his own heart; siblings, Joe Jaramillo, Stella Sanchez and husband Tino, Carol Ann Lucero and husband Harold, Theresa Jaramillo, and Cecilia Jaramillo; godchildren, Angela Lucero and Hunington Otero; mother-in-law, Marcia Gutierrez; sisters-in law, Jeannie Garcia and husband Louie, Margaret Andrews and husband Larry Don, Mary Lena (NeNe) Johnson and husband Mickey; and father-in-law Mark Gutierrez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and dear friends who will miss him more than words can ever express. From the day Lenny was born, the world, Albuquerque in particular, was in for quite a surprise. He was always full of such zeal and till the end, mischievousness. The stories everyone remembers about Lenny invoke so much laughter and disbelief! How can anyone who was such a rascal have turned into such a good, upstanding, and respectable man?!?! Lenny, though we knew this was coming, our loss of you has hit us so hard and unexpectedly. We love you and miss you so unbearably! Pallbearers will be Justin Jaramillo, Al Garcia, Doralynn Garcia, Michael Andrews, Joseph Romero, and Queston Otero. Honorary pallbearers are Joanne Romero, Jacob Romero, Hailey Johnson, Collin Johnson, Kristin Andrews, Angela Lucero, Celeste Lucero, Jaime Jaramillo, Carrie Garcia, Cassie Garcia, and Ricky Vigil.
