Anthony F. "Tony" Moya, 66, lifelong resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, December 11, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Ramona; his children, Michelle and Jason Moya all of Albuquerque; two sisters, Lucy Romero of Albuquerque, and Evelyn Jaramillo of California; two brothers, Wilfred Moya and Chris Moya, both of California; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and a very special aunt. Tony graduated from Las Cruces High School. He served his country in the United States Air Force having seen duty during the Vietnam War. Tony worked for the United States Post Office 40 years, retiring in 2007. A rosary service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2008, 11:00 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave NW at 4th Street, with interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery to follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the UNM Cancer Research Center, 900 Camino de Salud NE, MSC 084630.
