Baca -- Ms. Marcella Linda Baca, 22, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home with her loving family at her side on February 21, 2003. Marcella is the beloved daughter to Mrs. Marcella E. Baca. Marcella is also survived by her two sisters, Lauriana Cugliani and husband, Anthony, Cecelia Miller and husband, Chris; two brothers, Reuben Baca and wife Renee, Charles Baca and wife Jennifer; grandmother, Vivian Baca; special care takers, Janet Glowka and Mary F. Chavez; nieces and nephews, Beau Salas, Janielle Baca, Justin Baca, David Michael Miller and Anthony Cugliani; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A visitation for Marcella will be Tuesday evening from 6:30pm until 7:00pm in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00pm by Pastor David Crosby. A final visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:30am until 10:00am at Westside Baptist Church, 3021 Todos Santos NW with a Funeral Service to be held at 10:00am by Pastor David Crosby. Interment will follow at the Cubero Cemetery, Cubero, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be, Jimmy Jaramillo, Lawrence Jaramillo, Patrick Smith, Raul Yanez, Albert Fresquez Jr. and Charles Baca. Ortiz -- Maria Ursula Ortiz, beloved mother and devoted child of God, left to be with her Blessed Father on Monday, February 3, 2003. She was born to Maria Ursula Garcia Lucero and Abel Lucero in Los Luceros, NM on January 29, 1920. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Candido Ortiz; sisters, Adelaida Salazar and Odelia Salazar; brothers, Emilio, Luis, and Claude Lucero. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Reeder of Lakewood, CO, Belinda Crosby and spouse, Robert, Carol Schuster and spouse, Gary; and son, Don Jose Ortiz, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Daniel Reeder of Denver, CO, Deborah Ellison of Lakewood, CO, Bryan Crosby of Jacksonville, FL, Carleen Shannon of San Antonio, TX, Scott Schuster of Chicago, IL and Kerri Schuster and Steven Schuster both of Albuquerque; five great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Lucero and wife, Emily; and sisters, Alice Gomez of Santa Fe and Delia Sedillo and spouse, John of Lakewood, CO; sisters-in-law, Margaret Lucero of Rio Rancho and Virginia Lucero of Santa Fe; and numerous nieces and nephews. During WWII, Ursula worked at Kirtland AFB. She made her career of 32 years with the U.S. Postal Service where she received numerous awards for her superior accomplishments. Ursula was instrumental in establishing the Postal Credit Union during the earlier years of her career. She retired from the Post Office as Personnel Supervisor in 1979. For as long as she was able, Ursula was an active member of the Blue Army Rosary Guild of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America where she was named Catholic Daughter of the Year in 1990 for her generous work at the Barrett House. Ursula had a great love for God and her family and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to her loving and devoted caregivers, Mary Fierro and Mary Gutierrez. Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 7, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Hensley -- Phyllis Hensley, a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, died Tuesday, August 6, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Frank; sons, Gregory William Kellerman and wife, Bonnie of Silver Bay, MN, Robert Kevin Kellerman of Albuquerque; daughter, Debra Kay Kellerman and husband, Anthony Wandersee of Oak Island, MN; daughter-in-law, Dianne Kellerman Brack of Farmington, NM; stepson, Foster Hensley of Chicago, IL; seven grandchildren, Greg Kellerman, Deanna Koenen and husband, James, Zachary Kellerman, Jeff Kellerman and wife, Kerrie, Pat Kellerman, Hannah Wandersee and Cole Wandersee; three step-grandchildren; one great-grandson, Collin James Koenen; brothers, Donald Meacham and wife, Ardie of Bemidji, MN and Douglas Meacham of Crosby, MN; sister, Shirley Davies and husband, John of Crosby, MN; and many other nieces, nephews and relatives. Crosby -- Robert G. Crosby (Bob) 67, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, August 05, 2002 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Janet and husband, Johnny Lindell of Arlington, TX, Susan and husband, Rod Diethrich of Edmond, OK; two brothers, Steve Crosby and wife, Evelyn, Robert Mellon and wife, Julie; and sister, Mary Draper. He also leaves five grandchildren, Cassandra, Brett, Allen, Lyndsea and Jeremy and wife Darla; and great-grandchildren, Tomorrow, Tristan and Jaxson. Robert was preceded by two daughters and one son. Bob retired in January 2000 after 45 years with ABF Freight Systems. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints where he served as teacher, Bishop's councilor, mission leader, and a member of the Stake High Council. Bob was an ordinance worker in the Albuquerque Temple at the time of his death. Politically active, he was concerned and always expected integrity from public servants. Bob was a friend to all and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Services will be held Wedneday, August 7, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12701 Indian School Rd. NE. He was preceded in death by his father, Candido Ortiz; mother, Carlotta Ellison Ortiz; and sisters, Veneranda and Frances Ortiz. Candido served as a Captain in the Army Air Force during WWII and Colonel Aide-de-Camp for the NM National Guard. He worked for many years as an accountant for the Internal Revenue Service and later retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs in 1967. He also retired from the Screen Actors Guild after filming a part in a Tetley Tea Commercial. His interests included playing pool at the Highland Senior Citizen Center and ushering at Our Lady of Fatima Church. His dry wit and great sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 17, 2001, 10:00 a.m, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
