Obituary for Crosby

Robert G. Crosby (Bob) 67, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, August 05, 2002 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Janet and husband, Johnny Lindell of Arlington, TX, Susan and husband, Rod Diethrich of Edmond, OK; two brothers, Steve Crosby and wife, Evelyn, Robert Mellon and wife, Julie; and sister, Mary Draper. He also leaves five grandchildren, Cassandra, Brett, Allen, Lyndsea and Jeremy and wife Darla; and great-grandchildren, Tomorrow, Tristan and Jaxson. Robert was preceded by two daughters and one son. Bob retired in January 2000 after 45 years with ABF Freight Systems. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints where he served as teacher, Bishop's councilor, mission leader, and a member of the Stake High Council. Bob was an ordinance worker in the Albuquerque Temple at the time of his death. Politically active, he was concerned and always expected integrity from public servants. Bob was a friend to all and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12701 Indian School Rd. NE. Visitors may pay their respects one hour before the services. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
