DEL CURTO, DANTE DEAN Age 35, journeyed home to be with the Lord on July 22, 2014. A life-long resident of New Mexico, Dante was born in Alamogordo, NM on October 28, 1978. He spent his early years in Vaughn, NM and graduated from high school in Moriarty, NM. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Susan Del Curto, James and Nina George; a sweet little one he and Brandi lost before birth; his Father, George "Butch" Del Curto; his Godparents, George and Alice Luna; his niece, Lainey Lower. Dante is survived by his children, Trey, Devyn, Audrey and their mom, Brandi Dillard. He loved them all with every drop of his being. He is also survived by his mother, Sue Del Curto; brother, Bryan and sister-in-law, Barbara Del Curto; step-mother, JoAnn Del Curto; dear family friend, John Recio, his in-laws, Gene and Vicki Lower, Ryan and Lucia Lower; nephews, Ivan and Desiree Del Curto, Nathan and Kristen Del Curto, Dalton Lower; great nephews and nieces, Jacob, Santiago, Lyla and Sophia Del Curto, with two more on the way. He is also survived by a multitude of loving aunts, uncles, primos and primas. Dante's trademarks were his sense of humor and his smile. He enjoyed making others smile and laugh and if you made the mistake of doing something he found funny or entertaining, he was sure to turn it into a story and share it with others. Without fail, over time, the story was sure to grow and might be slightly embellished so to entertain his listeners even more. For reasons unknown and to the chagrin of many around him Dante was an enthusiastic and life-long Denver Broncos fan. He would revel when his team beat yours and couldn't wait for the next game if the Broncos happened to lose. In short, if Dante was ribbing you about something, you knew that he loved you. For the past 15 years, Dante committed his career to the Dept. of Veterans' Affairs, working to serve the veteran community through clinical research with the Cooperative Studies Program. He enjoyed his job and especially loved being around his friends and co-workers. He was proud to work there and he was proud to serve those who served our country. In recent years, Dante found a new love for his Catholic faith and had committed himself to serving Jesus Christ and his people. He was very involved in the ACTS ministry and worked tirelessly to help other men come to know Jesus Christ and to experience the love of the Lord and the love of others he'd found through his relationship with the Lord and his involvement in ACTS. He gained so many friends in the process and helped bring many people closer to the Lord though his love and service. Services were held Tuesday July 29, 2014 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Interment followed at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho. Pallbearers were Trey Del Curto, Nathan Del Curto, Ivan Del Curto, Ryan Lower, Adam Sais, Steve Tapia, and John Recio. LARI, JOSEPH Joseph R. Lari Our precious son left us one year ago on 7/25/2013. The despair of that day will always be seared into our aching hearts. We were blessed to have Joseph for 9781 days. Every second of each day a memory, followed by the question, why? Joseph lived an adventurous life with each day a new pursuit - hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, sparring, exploring, working, laughing, learning, praying, loving. Joseph had a compassionate heart, a healing spirit and humility. His love for his son Dylan, his brother Daniel, his parents, family, friends and strangers was shared with silent intensity. Days prior to his unexpected death, Joseph affirmed his greatest love of God which brings us great peace. His Bible went with him wherever he lived. His healing embrace will always be with us as we close our eyes and call upon that memory. For those of us left to follow, we keep Joseph's spirit alive by sharing the blessed stories, experiences, words, and silent moments. In faith, we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with Joseph again in God's loving light, in Jesus' name.

MILLER, RONALD LEE Age 74, a long time Albuquerque resident, died at his home July 15, 2014 with his beloved wife, Nancy, at his side, following a months-long battle with cancer. Ron moved with his parents and brother to Albuquerque in 1946 from his native Oklahoma. His late father, Arnold Miller, was a well-known home builder in Albuquerque, and Ron spent his high school summers working as a laborer on his father's construction projects, learning the profession. Ron graduated from Highland High School in 1957 and attended the University of New Mexico. Responding to the urge to build homes, Ron soon obtained his general contractor license and opened Ronald Miller Construction Co. Ron was known for his attention to detail, and he took special pride in the quality of his construction projects. He built custom homes in nearly every neighborhood of the city and, late in his career, he specialized in home construction in the Four Hills area. He also worked in rehabilitation of commericial properties all across the city. Though Ron's work schedule limited his time for hobbies, he found working in his yard relaxing. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Joan Miller, and his brother, Larry. He is survived by his wife, Nancy and his nieces, Jennifer and Kathy. He also is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Gary A. and Patricia McVicker and their two daughters, Dianna Lynn Keiser and Lauren Lee McVicker. Ron was happiest while at home and will be missed by his loving family. Ron was buried at Sunset Memorial Park in a private ceremony at his request. FRENCH - Lomas 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE (505) 275-3500

PORTER, CONNOR PATRICK June 27, 1997 - July 26, 2012 Two years ago our world was rocked when Connor, your dad (Pat Porter), and dear friend Connor Mantsch passed away together. You were such a sweet gift from God. You captured our hearts instantly and filled our lives with your beautiful smile, silly jokes, laughter, and so much love. We are thankful for each moment we had with you even though it was way too short. We are so grateful we will see you again in heaven, because you believed in Jesus. Our favorite writing of yours is, "I need to have a strong relationship with God and Christ to have a good life. That does not mean I will have a successful or happy life, but I do know with that I have a purpose. With purpose there is a sense of fulfillment and I am able to be content no matter what life throws at me." You are always in our hearts. We love you, Mom and Shannon
